Within 24 hours after receiving this Boostrix (hypothyroid patient) due to a cut on my finger, I had a sore throat, fatigued, and felt something was off. I slept more than usual and had a queasy stomach. I had to look up this Boostrix to see what side effects and I did not like what I read. I highly encourage you to research FIRST before they put anything in you. When the nurse asked me if I ever had any allergic reaction to any type of vaccine, I thought to myself... why would they be asking me this question - I said no. Got the shot 2 days ago, painfull to touch in the area, redness, mild headache and a bit more tired than usual. I have no specific medical background and the side effects seem to be in line with what is to be expected and are definitly bearable.

WITHIN 20 MINUTES AFTER GETTING THE BOOSTRIX tDAP INJECTION, I HAD A RASH ACROSS MY ENTIRE BACK WITH MANY TINY LITTLE PUMPS. WITHIN 24 HOURS I HAD A SORE THROAT & HOARSENESS OFF & ON. I GET A MILD HEADACHE & LIGHTHEADEDNESS OFF & ON. THIS IS THE 4TH DAY AFTER HAVING THIS INJECTION. I HAVE BEEN TAKING BENADRYL. I STILL HAVE THESE SYMPTOMS. I was required to have this tDAP vaccine to be around my new born granddaughters. I did not want to take it. I am hypothyroid with Hoshimotos autoimmune disease. I have a damaged liver.
