For nausea, I have been chewing fresh ginger root. Today I bought a Gravol ginger anti-nauseant... so far it seems to give a feeling of warmth but acid reflux persists, unlike fesh ginger root.

I was using this on land for nausea not on a ship I should make clear. I was sceptical of this drug as I had been nauseous for a few weeks, and did not have much faith in a "herbal" solution. However I could not have been more wrong. After taking the first dose my nausea abated and did not reappear for 6 hours! I then took a lower dose as an ongoing treatment.
