I had the most debilitating panic attacks! I started getting them at 23 yrs old. Beforehand, I didn't even know there was such a thing! I thought I was having a heart attack (other panic-disorder sufferers know what I mean!) So, for YEARS, I would have an attack w/out any outside trigger or reason. I stopped drinking coffee, alcohol, and even thought that I was causing them from eating high-fat fo...

Until June, I have been on 6mgs of this poison for seven years. In my opinion, it is given out to easily, prescribed at high doses for too long at a time, and is highly addictive if used for most two weeks. I've been going through withdrawal for weeks and it is only the beginning of what I will endure. Just watch the videos on Youtube or Google Klonopin Withdrawal and you will be horrified. I have...

I have been on this medication a couple of months and it is wonderful. I am calm and can function without all the anxiety that I am so used to feeling that keeps me a mess so that I can't get anything accomplished. I would like to stay on this the rest of my life. I am 59.

I have been taking this drug since 1980. In 1980 RLS was not very well known as it is today. I was lucky to find a doctor who recognized RLS. RLS is with you forever.

I started on Klonopin in 1998 due to panic and anxiety in conjunction with celexa. Two months ago, the celexa stopped working and my dr. has increased my klonopin from 1.25 mg. per day to 2.5 mg. until a new AD can be found that is effective. Klonopin has been a great drug for me, a lifesaver. I usually take my medication before bed and enjoy the relaxed feeling. That said, the drug is NOT for those who do not truly need it. If you do need it (I am a busy executive), then you should take it and you might as well enjoy it.Read More Read Less

I was prescribed an antidepressant and told this would take care of my anxiety. It didn't. Fortunately I found a psychiatrist willing to try clonazepam and I found immediate relief and can function. Also suffer from depression with my anxiety and 12 years later I still have not found an SSRI that works, but the clonazepam I have been taking at the same 3 mg/day dose for years is effective and has eliminated stress or anxiety caused diarrhea.

The doctor prescribed this drug for anxiety disorder to replace xanax. It is highly ineffective and I may as well not be taking anything! Whatever happened to "if it works, don't mess with it?"!!!

for the last year this was a 5 star drug all the way. Last week my sleep walking returned . Then last night the extreme night terrors also came back. Will contact doctor to iincrease, substitute, or discontinue. These night episodes are dangerous as injuries have occuried many times in the past, and age and osteoporsis make them worse every year.
