I had the most debilitating panic attacks! I started getting them at 23 yrs old. Beforehand, I didn't even know there was such a thing! I thought I was having a heart attack (other panic-disorder sufferers know what I mean!) So, for YEARS, I would have an attack w/out any outside trigger or reason. I stopped drinking coffee, alcohol, and even thought that I was causing them from eating high-fat fo...
Until June, I have been on 6mgs of this poison for seven years. In my opinion, it is given out to easily, prescribed at high doses for too long at a time, and is highly addictive if used for most two weeks. I've been going through withdrawal for weeks and it is only the beginning of what I will endure. Just watch the videos on Youtube or Google Klonopin Withdrawal and you will be horrified. I have...

I have been taking Klonopin since June 2012, before Klonopin I could not go anywhere without the fear of having a panic attack, first time I took it, it worked great! I have had decreased anxiety since then, Klonopin gave me my ability to enjoy life back! I take 0.25mg 2x daily along with 50mg of Zoloft 1x daily

Happy to have it to function it's been a year and a half. Seems as though it is not as effective. I have a high tolerance for all drugs.

I have been talking 1mg per day of Clonazepam and it has helped be focus, get along with people and helped me complete tasks. I have a stress job and a stressful home life. My wife drinks about 12 beers every night. She and my teenage sons are very cruel towards me. I now know that I must be the one that takes care of me. For me, the best stress medicine is a one to two hour intense workout or physical game or hard labor. After that - I'm a very come person. Best of luck and God bless you.

I am NOT taking this drug for anxiety or any other psychological condition; I'm taking it for persistent nerve pain after a botched surgery. It is the ONLY thing that works (I've tried gabapentin, Topamax, acupuncture, massage therapy, etc. - all completely ineffective.) Even though it works great, I'm not happy about taking it because of the possible dependency issues. For that reason I take it only 2-3 times per week instead of everyday as prescribed. I take a tiny dosage .25-.50 mg per day. Miracle drug.Read More Read Less

White male 68 have tinnitus which the doctor thought this drug would help. I does but I do not want to be hung up on it so I take if for a few nights then get off by taking half for a few night enjoy quiet from ear noise and when it starts back up I take it again. A good night sleep is important when you have tinnitus(ear buzz or ringing) Over all so far it seems to be helping me deal with the noise. Mind over matter is also a mthod I use to deal with the noise.

Use it for sleeping. Makes me sleep through the entire night unlike other drugs. If I forget a couple times no harm or side affects.Sometimes does not have the all day calming affects like when I was on ativan but not as addictive.
