I had the most debilitating panic attacks! I started getting them at 23 yrs old. Beforehand, I didn't even know there was such a thing! I thought I was having a heart attack (other panic-disorder sufferers know what I mean!) So, for YEARS, I would have an attack w/out any outside trigger or reason. I stopped drinking coffee, alcohol, and even thought that I was causing them from eating high-fat fo...

Until June, I have been on 6mgs of this poison for seven years. In my opinion, it is given out to easily, prescribed at high doses for too long at a time, and is highly addictive if used for most two weeks. I've been going through withdrawal for weeks and it is only the beginning of what I will endure. Just watch the videos on Youtube or Google Klonopin Withdrawal and you will be horrified. I have...

I take the drug in connection with anxiety and mood disorder. I believe that it helps calm me down. As a teacher, I can tell when I haven't taken the medication because my hands will start shaking during my teaching. I do have a problem with taking it and driving though because even 0.5mg tablets make me very tired. I am glad that it relaxes me but I wish that it not make me so tired.

I have been through many medications in order to try and control my panic attacks, as I develop very high tolerances even on mendications you aren't supposed to, and finally we have settled on Klonopins. They seem to work like a charm so far.

I was on Klonopin for almost 2 years 1mg at night... This in combination with zoloft completely relieved my anxiety. It has been about 2 weeks since I stopped taking it and the withdrawl symptoms were bad while cutting down each time but after a week of withdrawl the brain seems to adjust.

As a veteran of the gulf war, I experienced panic attacks, and general anxiety. This drug effectively maintains normalcy in my life. Without it, I'm lost. Also a great cure for the common hangover as it produces a calming effect. Cheers!

Sometimes when I take Klonopin it makes me tired and sleepy, it takes away my ambition to do things, I seem to be putting things off longer than I did before I took it, but over all it does work for me, panic attacks doesn't happen as often. I wouldn't take this unless my doctor thought it helps me.

This drug when used correctly can be life giving. I was always having attacks, at school, work, in the car, at home. By using the medication, combined with anti-deppresants, I feel normal again and anxiety free.

I have been taking 1mg daily for 4 years now for panic attacks. It has been the only drug (out of all the others they tried first) to allow me to leave my home without worries of having a panic attack!!!!

It has made feel very relaxed and very confident, not up-up-tight and taken away every scary feelings that the world is out to get me. My confidence has rose and i don't need to look over my shoulder every other second. I no longer burst into tears at the least smallest question and i'm no longer in fear of every one or anything that happpens to me. I feel that I'm a person in my owmn right. For me {and I'm not saying everyone should use this med}it works.

I have been on this drug for about 2 years for Cyclothalmic disorder (mild bipolar). It has been good, and I am a pretty even-keeled person now. I was originally taking it 3 times a day, but sleepiness during the day was bothersome so I now use it mainly at night. Over time, it seems that I actually have needed less and less of it - I don't even take it every night now and I don't feel any withdrawl type symptoms if I don't take it for a few days, but I wouldn't want to be completely without it. It works wonders when anxiety symptoms pop up unexpectedly and thankfully my anxiety tends to come at night anyway - so it has been a good drug for me. No other side effects except sleepiness.Read More Read Less

I have taken Klonopin since I was 15 and I am now 22 and I'm completely satisfied with it. I have had to get the dose increased over the years, I stared out at .5mg three times a day to now 2mg three times a day and it helps my anxiety a lot.

Diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, trying so many types of medications, and finally being placed on this one for night time muscle spasms & RLS along with sleepless nights, this medications has taken away all of the above issues. Of course I am on other meds, Cymbalta, Vicodin(Norco), Lyrica & now Klonopin. With this combination of meds, I finally have found a level of relief that has allowed me to function normally. Although at first the Klonopin for the first few days did cause morning fog, but didn't last long. I stayed groggy about 30 mins after waking, but I just took it slow. Another thing I do is NEVER take this during the daytime, unless I have no plans on going out. This will make you drowsy & a little clumsy until after you get used to it. I have been prescribed 3 times daily, but I feel even at the lowest dose of .5 mg that is too much. So I stick with taking it at bedtime. It helps me get the sleep I need in order to get a more restful sleep.Read More Read Less
