I used to take Valium and I like this medication much better. It doesn't make me as drowsy as Valium did and I am able to complete all daily activities while using it.

I just started taking this medication due to the anxiety my IBS has been causing. I find that if I take .05 to 1.0 of it, it takes my anxiety away and actually suppresses all of the IBS symptoms. What is strange though is I do this and I'm good for a week or so, my IBS/anxiety comes back and I take another .05 to 1.0 and I'm good for another week or so. Dont know how this works, but I'm going with it until it doesnt do it for me anymore. I dont think I'll get addicted taking 1.0 miligram once a week. At least I hope not.Read More Read Less

it is great but i feel like sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt

Since I have been taking this drug, my seizures have stopped (along with lamictal). However, I have noticed if other people take it, it first has a good effect,letting them rest, than they can't seem to wake up. It's not for everyone.

This medicine has worked very well for me . Panic symptoms and agoraphobia no longer dominate my life. Klonopin made me feel a little goofy when I first started but after a week or so it just killed the panic disorder. It works alot better than Paxil, without any sexual side effects. thank goodness my psych recommended this med.

it has bwwn hwlpful.but i have to stoptaking it and be clean for 72 hours it makes me very sick to just quit like that dont know what to do

This medication has helped me even out my unexplainable panic attacks that I have suffered from for over a decade and never truly known how to handle it. Previous Doctors of mine have prescribed me many other drugs including Wellbutrin, Zoloft, Effexor, Paxil, Valium as well as Xanax in the past and Klonopin is the only one that has been working for me. I take 1 Mg. up to three times daily and am able to function and be the self I used to be. If you are experiencing symptoms similar to mine, I recommend talking to your Physician about it. Suffering from major anxiety and depression with intolerable migraines. Take 1mg twice a day along with 200mg zoloft and 30mg buspar. I have my life back and can complete tasks and be active with my kids. If you suffer from severe anxiety like myself, this is a god send. I am not worried about abuse or dependence as I have a genuine anxiety disorder and needed help. Would recommend to anyone who would like to add to their mental health care regimen.

I am on Klonopin .5mg every 12 hrs, along with Zoloft 100mg daily. So far it is working. I have only been on these 5 days but prior to this I have tried many other medications. Lexapro worked very well for me but there is no generic so I had to change cause my insurance no longer covered it after about 8 yrs of being on it, if only that came in a generic form.

Works good for the most part. My previous Dr. had me on 10mg of Valium for 3 years but when I moved and started seeing another she put me on Klonipin 1mg but my dose was incresed to 2mg twice a day, I was out of town and ran out and started going through withdrawls . My head was fuzzy, I couldnt think I felt like I couldnt get though the day. I lasted for 2wks until I got my refill. I have been taking this medication for 15 years. Recently, my doctor was unavailable for over 10 days for a refill order. I experienced withdrawls from this drug including; servere sweating, headache, muscle jerking, neausea, anxious feelings, fever like sysmtoms and strange and disturbing dreams. It has been un-nerving to experience this without being able to talk to my doctor.

Originally I was put on Klonopin for facial tics. It gave me plenty of side effects. After seven years of taking a low dose, I was able to wheen off of it and I had two seizures a night. I had to get back on it and other meds. Six years later, I still have siezures, side effects and I'm not driving.

I was placed on 1 mg for panic attacks and trouble slepping. It worked great for about a week. Panic attacks had lessened and i was sleeping a little better. After the first week, the panic attacks became more frequent and was unable to sleep so the doc suggested taking 1 in the morning and 1 at night, that didnt work because i have no energy during the day. So he changed to 2 at night. i began having horrific, life like dreams when i could sleep. I also would wake up starving. i gained 10 pounds in 2 months of this med. I have taken this med. for many years.I would like to get off of them. I do not and never did have seizures. I was diagnosed with clinical depression. I am not depressed, but sometimes I do become insecure with my thoughts and feelings.

This drug was prescrbed for me for anger / depression. everyday i take it, 1 tablet sometimes 1 1/2 a day. i am a different person and to everyone.

I have been taking Klonopin for about 2 weeks and can see a dramatic change in my panic disorders.

when I took this in 2010 I was crying all the time.
