I was a Lilly brat, and we got the good stuff, back before everyones' sphincters had puckered up about these things. My mom was surprised she'd been giving me codeine all through my childhood, but it worked like nothing I've had since.

Grew up on this antitussive. Eli Lilly discontinued this medication because the newer MD's were not Rx-ing it as much as in the '50's, '60's & 70's. Terrible shame because what is being Rx'd now DOES NOT WORK AS WELL!!
