directions say not to squeeze the sides of the bottle. due to arthritis and carpel tunnel and trigger finger ( 1 on each hand) squeezing the sides is the only way I can get the drops in my eyes. I cannot push down on the bottom of the bottle. if it came in a bottle with an eye dropper, it would e so much easier. any suggestions?or do I just keep on doing the wayI have been?

stinging in both eyes upon application. Goes away in several minutes. Doc wants me to continue to try to see if I can get pressure in both eyes to decrease further than with original drops. If stinging continues or other symptoms develope will stop usgae and go back to original prescribed drops.

I seem to have lost my distance vision and also seem to be more short of breath. Also my eyes do not adjust from light to dark for several minutes. Have been on this drug for about 2 years and have seen a drop in my eye pressure.

The only negative experience I have had is that my eyes stay swollen and they are so irritated. Above my eyelids, and under my bottom eyes look broke out, because I have been rubbing them even though I know I shouldn't.

I am only 9 weeks into usage. I experience short term burning/stinging when I first put the drops in. About 4 weeks ago my tongue became sensitive. I began to feel like I had burned my tongue. The severity has continued to worsen until I now feel my tongue is raw and swollen. I am wondering if this is due to the Istalol since it is the only change I have had in medications or routine. My blood pressure has also increased. Has anyone else experienced these symtoms while on Istalol?

Experienced stinging in my left eye immediately after use. After about four weeks, developed headaches, pain behind eyes and my blood sugar levels increased. It controlled my eye pressure but had to stop due to headaches and increase in blood sugar levels.

According to the instructions on the box, it must be stored between 59-77 degrees F. These are company lab conditions, and I do not know how to store it, because I do not live in a lab, and my home temperature goes up to 90 degrees F in warm weather or highter. I could store it in my refrig at 40 degrees, but the company told me, when I contacted them, I cannot go below the lowest temp on the box, which is 59 degrees F. Must I go out and buy a mini refrig to store this material? My eye doctor told me to store it in my bathroom which is idiotic. Various pharmacists at different drlkug stores, do no know the best answer, store it warm, or store it cold. Cold is fine for me, except for that idiotic limitation of 59 degrees by the manuf. I have not asked the Japanese company which invented the stuff, only the distrib. listed on the box.Read More Read Less

The first dose of one drop just caused some itching. The next day the drop caused the itching and the tissue around the eye swelled up. It took a day and a half for the swelling to go down. The Dr has since changed my prescription.
