I lose the effectiveness of oral pd medications abruptly. With Apokyn I am back to more on time usually within 15 minutes.

I am the facilitator for a support group and am extremely disappointed in the manufacturer of this drug. A person is on disability and even with the Medicare D card the co-pay is $1800 for 24 injections. When something works, they price it beyond our means.

My Wife had an excellent response to Kynmobi, however she developed mouth sores after a short time. 20% of patients do. I was told Apokyn was the same active drug "APO Morphine", it was a lot more expensive but I had to try it. After all the money and having someone come to our home to teach us how to use the Apokyn injection pen she had absolutely no results, NONE. Once that happened everyone from the Apokyn Company abandoned me. I think I got a bad batch of medicine but no company would ever admit to it.Read More Read Less

It works quickly and well. I just wish it lasted longer.

My husband has become a compulsive gambler & is putting us at risk financially. He can't work. Don't know if we'll make it into our golden years.
