It has changed my life. I can now live life, normally. I don't have those sad feelings everyday like I did before I started taking the medication. I was about to give up hope on myself and doctors, but I finally found a doctor that has helped me,after 20 years of searching. I have suffered for 20 years with this, not knowing what was wrong and thinking that no one understood me because you have to...
The Zoloft part of this medication gave me a skin crawling and itchy sensation. I had taken Prozac (other part of this med.) without incident. Together I felt extremely itchy, irritated, agitated and listless. I wound up going to a psych. triage and was told I had an allergic reaction and to stop immediately. The NP that prescribed it neglected to read my chart on Zoloft reactions.

I have been on different medications for depression. I have treatment resistant depression. I found out about this on the internet and talked with my dr. I have been on this for 2wks and I feel absolutely wonderful!!! I take it at night and it helps me sleep very well. I get up in the morning feeling wonderful and I am able to control my anger alot better. I also have noticed that I crave alot of sweets. I highly recommend this to pple.

I absolutely LOVE this medication been on it for 4 years. Other than the weight gain I cannot complain. I don't have anger issues and not irrariatable. I sleep SO well now. At first it knocked me out for a few days but the doctor warned me of that but since then I feel great! I thank my doctor for introducing me to this medication. I have considered going off this medication but I am back to my normal self and don't think I can take the depression again.

Been on a variety of anti-depressants for many years - no luck. Had a hard time describing my symptons. Finally, I found something that really works. Been taking only 1 week, but have energy and want to get up in the morning and do something. I have read up on this and am afraid this causes weight gain. Don't want to gain weight! or having to stop this medication. Actually feeling younger!

No more nightmares, but very difficult to wake up in the morning. Phone next to bed, alarm clock and nothing will wake me up except another person shaking me awake. Also helped mood swings & Panic attacks. Watched a couple of movies that always make me cry, and on this medication not one tear was shed. Not sure if that is a good thing or not. Will update after I have been on this more then a month...good luck all!

I have gained over 30 lbs with this medicine but, I feel better than I have in months. I've tried all the brands of anti-depressants.

I've tried a few depression meds including Cymbalta and Lexipro. After taking a Bipolar questionnaire it was agreed that I needed to try a different drug. So far using Symbyax I have been able to think clearer and control my anger spurts. This may be the drug for me for now. I'm happy that med science is continually working hard in this field. Not very many individuals understand just how serious being Bipolar or Depressed is.

This is my third time getting back on this med. due to the cost. I am budgeting better so I don't have to stop it again. There are no words to describe how much better my mood swings and depression are on this. It's sad that it is so exspensive and some people need it and can't afford it. Good luck to all.

I was diagnosed bipolar disorder after living with it bottled up for 10 years because my mother didnt belive i needed medication or psycological evaluations i just needed to "deal" with what life swings your way. just a simple comment good or bad from someone would make me go into an episode for no reason. After only 3 DAYS of treatment my husband, and coworkers made the comments to me that i looked refreshed and happy. it is a compleate wonder drug for me and has helped stop about 85% of my episodes. The only down fall of this medication is the Price. with my health insurance i pay $92 a month on a tight budget im not able to take this medication anymore and after a full 24 hours off the medication i had sever withdrawls from it and it onset my hypo-glocemia dropping my blood sugar from 89 to 42 within appx. 1 hourRead More Read Less
