My new Dr. gave me this for allergies and sinus problems. I would wake up every 2 or 3 hours with my nose stopped up. It had been so long since I had a good nights sleep. The first night I tried the spray, my nose stayed un-stopped all night long. And I sleep so good. I use it every night before I go to bed. I am very pleased.

This is the most useless product on the market. I have been prescribed this nasal spray on three separate occasions for seasonal nasal congestion, and it has never worked. At the moment, I have been using it for four days, and my head is more congested than on day one. Now my ears feel full and I can't pop them. Fluticasone is just another worthless pharmaceutical ripoff.

I have had nasal polyps since my 20's. I used to use nose drops to keep my nose open but i became addicted to them. Several years ago my doctor prescribed Nasonex. I tried it for several months but I ended up losing much of my sense of smell. So my doctor switched me to Flonase which is now available as an over the counter generic. It was much more effective than Nasonex and I still have my sense of smell after using it for about 20 years. Sometimes I use more and sometimes I use less and sometimes I don't use any depending on my polyps. They will shrink down and I can skip days or weeks. But then I have to start again. This may not be for everyone. My wife says it gives her a sore throat. I get one if I have a cold and overuse it but otherwise no side effects. I don't want an operation. There is no guarantee the polyps won't come back.Read More Read Less

I have no idea why my Dr. prescribed me this medication, with an eyedrop prescription. The eyedrop does worked for my eyes, however, the Fluticasone spray does nothing me. I stopped using it on the 4th day.

I have chronic sinusitis and this is the ONLY thing I've found that works and the effects last, and it does not make me sleepy! I use one spray in each nostril first thing in the morning, and the same again at bedtime. I started sleeping without waking up having to blow my nose several times a night within a few uses. I did experience a sinus headache the first day or two that I used this product, but continued and have not experienced any headache after the first couple days. Pretty much all other products make me very sleepy, but this does not. I have NO side effects at all since the headache has passed. I am extremely happy with this product and would recommend to anyone with the same issues to try it, and even if you have a few MINOR side effects to continue for a little longer to see if they subside. As with all medications, the product is definitely not for everyone, but it has been wonderful for me!Read More Read Less

Where do I start? Been using this to help ease some nasal issues and what I've been experiencing from taking this medicine the last few weeks is: shortness of breath to the point I'm taking deep breaths throughout the day, spikes in blood sugar, insomnia sometimes I can't fall asleep until 5am, rapid pounding heart beat to the point I have to wake up out of my sleep to try to calm down, chest tightness, toothache, very dry mouth, bad fatigue when doing things, bad blurry vision. Other day I was so afraid I was having a heart attack. Went to the emergency, my heart is healthy, very healthy! It's been two days off the spray so far, and I can feel the symptoms taper down some... But I'm still struggling with symptoms. I was taking two pumps per day in each nostril, then 1 pump per nostril. The crazy part I was experiencing the symptoms right away but kept taking it because I came up with excuses saying it could be dehydration, or maybe because it's type 2 diabetic. Oh and like I said it's spiked my blood sugar to dangerous levels. Last night was the first night I haven't experienced rapid heartbeat... But today it came back from taking a two hour nap! Never taking this stuff again. Steroids don't do good for me, especially this product! Read More Read Less

This is the only thing that worked! I had severe, unbearable sinus facial pain for 4 months, and went through 3 rounds of antibiotics before Dr prescribed this. Turns out I have polyps. The first time I used the spray I had burning in the back of my nose so I stopped. (I suspect now it was because my polyps were so swollen) but within a few days my facial pain was gone!!!! A couple of months later I tried again, using for 3 days, but I developed painful mouth ulcers (I now know if I brush teeth and tounge after using spray I prevent the ulcers in mouth!) Two yrs later now: I use the spray for 2 days, every couple of months when I feel facial pain creeping up. I'm still on the first bottle! I have not had a single sinus infection!!!!! It removes the pain!!! This spray prevented me from surgery! I am so thankful I have it, only caveat is I had to trial & error what worked for me as the prescribed instructions had negative side effects. Overall I highly recommend for nose polyps!!!!! I also highly recommend as the cheapest way to find out if you suspect you have nose polyps; if you use a couple of times and your pain does not reside then go see an ENT.Read More Read Less

Used it for 5 of the recommended 14 days and it wasn't making a dent in my swollen passages.
However, I started getting a burning sensation in my nasal passages when blowing my nose.
Discontinued use.

My doctor put me on this spray since I was having trouble breathing through my nose. The spray had a strong smell to it, one that was not good. Unfortunately, the issue I had with my nose required surgery to clear my nose so this spray wasn't going to fix that. After using the spray, I would usually have some pain and irritation in my nose which was unpleasant. Not a terrible drug but I wouldn't recommend using it unless you are desperate and have tried allergy pills, etc.

Don't recall how long I have been taking this but it's been years. For the past two years I have jot had a sense of taste or smell, and it just occurred to me that it is probably by using this nasal spray for years without stopping it for a while.

Last night I had one of the worst sore throats I have ever had in my life. I have used the spray for 7 treatments over three and 1/2 days. I stopped the medication last night and have not taken it again this morning and the soreness in my throat is subsiding after a 24 hour period of not using the medication. I also lost my voice. I currently have a discomfort in my left ear. I think more should be stated in the information provided by the distributor as to the nature of negative side effects. Not all medications are meant for everyone nor should the dosage be the same. Read More Read Less
