I literally just started using this medication about three hours ago, and I can already tell the difference. It was very painful for me to urinate and I felt as if I had to go constantly! About an hour after I took this medicine, the pressure to pee every five seconds went away. Also, the burning sensation during urination also decreased as well! It didn't go away completely, but I just started ta...

I had a serious side effect, irregular heartbeat. I would suggest that people read the side effects before taking. I should have done this!

I am a diabetic who gets UTIs 4-6 times a year and this drug is a life saver. Usually within an hour I start getting relief from the UTI symptoms.

This used to work for me within one hour. But my last two experiences I have had no relief for endless hours

This is a wonder drug for me. When I get a UTI, until I take AZO I can't get too far from the toilet because I have to go every few minutes and the pain is awful. Within an hour after taking it, I feel so much better and can go about my day-to-day activities. The only drawback for me is I have to eat something when I take it or I get nauseated. (The "Time on Medication" below is misleading because I'm not on it continuously, but I've used it on and off for 2-3 years)

I honestly don't know what I would do without quick access to this drug. It takes effect within one to two hours, and suddenly I forget just how much pain I had been enduring. I've never had any issues pertaining to nausea or dizziness, but I am usually immune to side effects of drugs.

So I am a 19 year old teenager (kinda) this is my second UTI this year. Every five minutes a girl has to pee. I bought these AZO pills that are orange from the box and contain pumpkin seed. And they did nothing. It says to take one every few hours. I took two every few hours along with a cranberry pill too. It doesn't really kick it until 45 minutes-1 hour. Until then I have to sit on a toilet until I feel I can move again. These pills aren't that helpful. I would pee myself even while taking these until I went to the doctor. AZO is a C for me. It helps you move but for a few minutes until you have to pee again. Well, from my experience. It's not suppose to cure it I know but the pain was still there and the urgency. Waking up every night to go pee is horrible. So as soon as my doctor answers me I will stick with AZO. Like I said they help a little but not that much.Read More Read Less

This did nothing to relieve any of my UTI symptoms. I will not purchase it in the future.

The CQ for weight management has side effect of intestinal gas. I had this side effect to the point of missing a birthday party.

A UTI is very painful and this has proven to take almost all of the pain and discomfort away while waiting on antibiotics to kick in and clear up the problem.. amazing meds.. and price is unbelievable.. cheap..

As a person who is prone to UTI's this has been a miracle drug for me. Before it was on the market I would be in agony for hours. Until I could get to a doctor to write a script for a antibiotic, but also for the pain killer. Then wait for it to get filled and wait for it to kick in. UTI's hit me super fast and are very crippling. Although AZO doesn't completely take away 100% of the pain for me, it is still a good percentage that I can not only get out of a fetal position, but bare walking and waiting. I really can't complain. I wouldn't want to live in a world that AZO isn't available. Thats how much pain UTI's cause me and the relief AZO helps with. I would seriously cry if this stuff was ever discontinued.Read More Read Less

On the second day of taking this medication, I ended up in the emergency room because I couldn't urinate, and my bladder was filling up fast. Be aware that this is one of the potential side effects of this drug.

I never take the time to write reviews, but honestly this stuff is amazing. I am prone to urinary tract infections and have spent every time sitting on the toilet for hour's until my legs were asleep. Now at the first hint of pain I take this and the pain is gone and life can resume as normal. It does turn your urine red which can stain clothes, and you need to take with food as with most other medications or you will feel a little nauseous but honestly it's SO worth it. I'll take any of the side effects over the pain of a UTI. I strongly recommend. Read More Read Less

If you have a UTI you need an antibiotic to treat it, AZO will help with painful urination. Makes me very nauseous. Took after a meal and ended up sick to my stomach. So if I can get just a bit into me to give me some relief until on antibiotic bit longer. Get a UTI on a weekend --- I head to an Urgent Care, and I have one by me that can dispense antibiotic so don't have to wait to take. AZO is over the counter so easy to acquire.

Azo Urinary pain relief is a go for UTI pain and irritation. VERY EFFECTIVE over the counter. Please follow directions as follows: take after meal. My first experience with Azo was not great due to taking on empty stomach: big mistake. Take after meal-felt horribly nauseated. It will turn urine orange due to the dye that acts as a urinary tract analgesic (targets source of pain). Dye will stain clothing and other items.

I have Chronic Prostatitis and AZO has always worked well to relieve the pain that goes along with it. Although I do experience slight leg cramps after taking. Drink LOTS of water after taking this stuff.

Azo worked very well for me. I already knew what to expect when I went to the bathroom so the neon orange color just meant it was working. It did not scare me at all. I followed the directions and it really helped. It doesn't cure a UTI but it helps with the discomfort while your on meds to get rid of it.

The first time I urinated after the first time I took this medication it had slightly relieved the pain but had definitely made my urine orange, but that was fine. I had taken that dose with lunch and took my next dose at dinner. 30 minutes later I had severe pain in my lower right back and that continued through the night making for a dreadful night with poor sleep. Upon waking I still had pain, and refrained from taking another dose. The pain remained and worsened all through the day and that night I was unable to move due to extreme bilateral kidney pain. This excruciating pain kept me up all through the night and was horrible. Very bad reaction to this medication and never saw its benefits but the first time. Still urinated frequently and painfully. First feeling UTI took medication and a couple hours later the medicine started to take affect. However, I also had horrible abdominal pain, nausea, and urine turned orange. Very freaked at first sight of urine. Only reason I gave medication a low rating is due to nausea, stomach pain, and dizziness. It is an effective method however for quick relief.

I have been having very bad headaches and it now has spread to my right ear and into the gland in my neck. I have been taking one pill three times a day as the box instructed, I have been doing this for six days but I am going to quit as I do not feel well and my head hurts really bad.

I was having UTIs, back to back for several years, resulting in frequent kidney infections. Once I started taking this product the UTI virtually disappeared. I don't generally have painful symptoms so I can't comment on effectiveness in that area. I take two a day.

At first my UTI symptoms went away within the first 30 minutes of taking AZO. Then, i woke up in the middle of the night w/ horrible back pain, kidney inflation, & a side ache. This pain has lasted 3 days. Be very careful when taking this! The side effects are not worth it!!!
