lately it doesn't seem to be working, i've been taking it for three years now ...

I have been on 150ml of XL for about a week now. I was on it a little over 2 yrs ago to take the edge off. Love it. Lost about 10 lbs and felt great. Did make my thoughts less clear, and got off of it when I had to make some life-changing decisions. Got back on it now, and it is hard to adjust to in the beginning. Mood swings for sure. And I agained 4 lbs in a week! The opposite of what I wanted to happen. Hopefully it will change and go the other way. No sexual side effects except that it is better! I do have a range of emotions every day though from being confident and secure to being totally insecure and emotional. This too, I hope will pass soon. This is the only depression med i have tried and so far so good. I feel lucky to have gotten it right on the first try. Before I began taking Wellbutrin XL I was very depressed, specifically I felt like everybody hated me and conspired against me. After taking it I feel normal again. I know it works becuase if I miss a few pills the same feelings come back until I start taking the pills regularly again. They seem to have a few day delay. Also, my pharmacy gave me the generic version one time so I thought what the heck and decided it wasn't a big deal, but I was wrong. It made my feel like I wasn't taking anything at all and the old feelings were back. After that I made sure my pharmacy always gave me the name brand. This drug really works for me. This medication is the only antidepressant that has worked for me. I have been taking it for several years. It has no sexual side effects and I always feel "normal". I lowered my doseage for a month and felt the depression returning. This is a wonderful medication.

This drug worked best for me of all antidepressant medication. Unlike Prozac or Zoloft, it di not cause sexual side effects or lethargy. It can cause slightly manic mood swings when beginning dosage so might require a slower schedule to work up to full dosage.

when i was taking this pill it increased my deppresion and i had trouble s leeping.

I felt great on this medication at first. After 2 months I started becoming really angry. I would sweat all night long, I was always hot... I felt like a drug addict sweating out all the drugs. I also had severe cases up diarrhea and stomach upset.

This drug has no sexual side effects for me,

after taking this medication for about 5 days I felt dizzy and dry mouth I thought I has going to pass out every five minutes kept going to the emengency room . my blood pressusre went way up everytime after 5 yeats or so I'm still feeling the side effects like i'm having zeisures I'm seen a neurologist getting my heat check and eeg and I still feel like passing out specially when I lay down to fall asleep.

Started taking to quit smoking i been taking it 8 months and have not quit yet, some days i seem to smoke more of them real bad cravings.I really need to quit for I can have my neck surgery.

I could tell a huge difference in the generic vs the reg Wellbutrin. Insurance company does not want to pay for the whole script since there is a generic avail. I pay the diff its worth it. No weight gain and lots more energy with normal wellbutrin. antidepressants and heart meds as well as thryoid meds have the biggest problem with patients not doing as well on the generics, Insurance companies should be more concerned about the health of the public rather than making a buck

I had been on many medications for depression but nothing worked.Wellbutrin made me feel normal. I have been on it for years with no problems or side effects.

taken many depression meds over the past 15 years, I was given this to try for depression & ADD, it made me very aggitated & anxious. Felt angry all the time and short tempered w/my family. taking Vynase now, works much better for me, no anxiety or anger. I noticed the bad side effects right away and they decreased about 8 hrs. after taking the dose. stopped taking wellbutrin after 3 weeks, this is the second time I've tried it. It's hard to find the right med, keep trying!

I am useing this for pms

I took this medicene for 4 days and was a witch. I think my family was ready to throw me out the door.

I was taking prozac, but I was having diminished sexual desire. I also had a hysterectomy a year before, so I wasn't sure what was the cause. I also have thyroid disease, and my endocronologist didn't think I should quit taking it. I was willing to switch meds to see if it would hep. It doesn't work as well as Prozac for me.

8 weeks after starting to take this I had my first seizure

Originally began using this drug to quit smoking. One week after beginning this medication I stopped smoking and it has been 10 years since I picked one up. I have since been placed back on this drug for up/down mood swings which have stopped. Very effective in my case. No side effects that I have noticed.

I have been on Wellbutrin for 2 weeks. I am constipated, angry, anxious, shaking, not sleeping well, feel worse than without it, and now I have developed a stutter! Anyone out there have this happen? I am supposed to increase the "W" from 150 to 300, but with this all going on I don't think so. Is it just me or does this affect anyone else?
