This is the second time I am prescribed Wellbutrin to treat my MDD and is a godsend, saved my life 5 years ago, and is giving me my life back again. I have no nasty side effects at all, if anything I have more energy and even started to exercise again after one year of inactivity. Got a couple of bad headaches the first week or so but it dissapeared quickly. In my case it took it 3-4 weeks to work.

Morning depression was horrid. I compare it as being " homesick" as a child. Menopause has a lot to do with it also. Wellbutrin has worked wonders for me. More energy,no depression. Thank you!

Just started 3 days ago. Have barely slept since. Wicked case of restless legs.

Added Wellbutrin XL to Celexa after depression worsened due to auto-immune hypothyroid disease. Very effective - worked quickly to lift my mood, increased energy level, motivation. Have experienced tendency to perspire more, also minor difficulty sleeping, but well worth it. Am exercising again, getting in shape for kayaking and backpacking this spring. Yay for Wellbutrin XL!

I had taken Prozac for a short time several years ago and became quite agitated on that medication. I was hesitant to try another antidepressant again but last year none of my usual coping skills (exersize, paying attention to my thoughts etc) seemed to be helping as much as I needed them to. Srated with Paxil, it was a disaster, horrible side effects and little help. When switched to Wellbutrin the effect was immediate and absolutely no negative side effects. Also, increased sexual function and pleasure.

After a severe depressive episode, added to existing citalopram regime. after short adjustment period, found it improved my mood greatly.

This had me cutting down from a pack a day to half a pack to a quarter of a pack in 2 weeks. The start of the third week, I quit smoking and have not had any significant cravings since. I've also been dieting and losing weight at the same time. The only problem with this med is I always feel nasuous throughout the day, have lots of gas and am constipated. But a small price to pay to deal with these side effects than to be smoking.

After 3 weeks, experienced severe anger towards others, headaches, get irritated easily, suicidal thoughts. Lost almost 10 pounds of weight i gained with Paxil but not worth the side effects

As I took this medication my mood swings have become less frequent. It had helped with my depression and anger, but did not help with manic episodes. The only side effect that I had was trouble sleeping but after abouttwo weeksI was back on my normal sleep schedual.

I have been taking wellbutrin Xl for a little over a month for slight depression and anxiety. I have experienced a significant difference in my mental wellbeing. I feel so much better now! However, I recently started itching and getting small welt like bumps almost the size of a mosquito bites all over my body. I really hope its not the meds because I feel so great now that I am taking them.

This is the second time I have used this to quit smoking. It works really well to help you quit when you are ready. I stopped taking it after only three months the first time I quit, and I believe that is partly why I started back after four months. It has been over two months this time, and I feel it's my last! was on several meds. before welbutrin and none of them helped. Welbutrin worked quickly and consistantly.

Has this drug helped you stop smoking? The SR has not helped med. Has the xl helped you?

Started on Paxil with horrible side effects and little benefit; my Doc switched me to Wellbutrin 150XL and the difference was both very positive and immediate.
