I am currently using this medication for a fissure, and it has worked wonders. Although I was a bit skeptical about the way it was used, I am glad that I used it.

My proctologist advised using a small amount of cream on a q-tip to apply in the rectum. He advised against using the applicator as it can cause more injury to the area.

The applicator is 2 inches long. You can only insert 1 inch per directions. The cream squeezes out all over.
