All in all...subutex saved my life. I have nothing but good things to say about it. I have had no ill side effects and it has curbed my cravings for pain killers. I really never thought that I was going to be able to kick my pain killer addiction but luckily my doctor put me on subutex and its worked like a charm!

This drug is a life saver. I used this drug 2 yrs ago it worked extremly. I was only on it for 3 months and I had no ill effects coming of the meds,a few months ago I relapsed and went back to detox. I am back on the suboxone.Once again it has been a life saver,

Careful folks with this med. It really did help me for 9 years but had to check into a 30 program to GET OFF IT. Bad withdrawl even after being titrated down. I was on 24mg per day and after 15 days when they took the 2 mgs away hold on!!!

There are just a certain percentage of us who are addicts and nothing in the world can change that.Thank goodness I managed to find subutex. It tastes wicked but it sure removes the longing.

Within 20 minutes of taking this meication, i was having a hotflash, getting dizzy and throing up. I also became flush and swollen.

My reason was I was becoming depandent on Oxcy's and MS contin,which I was taking for chronic pain.I went to the Pain Clinics and they loaded me up until I was on so much,thinking to myself how much more are they going to give me before I die.No!Pain Clinics are nothing but a scam.Sure you get meds and eveything seems fine until they start to wear off and you need more,then you realize you can only go so far without overdosing.It's a rackett. Then they went a put poly fillmers in them so the kids and addicts could not shoot up,not telling us your body would not absorb the medication any longer,Fortunately I work in Healtcare,called the unit asked if there was an opite bed available.This drug Subutex, is not for just coming off opiates! It also takes care of chronic pain,I had DDD and spinal stenosis,along with some spinal cancer.After 15 minutes on the unit and taking my first pill I was pain frre.That was Dec,2010,and I have had no pain since.I still have a hard time wrapping my head around how it can take away all this pain.But I thank the doctor who saved my life and let me live again.So don't think its just for addicts,if you are in pain and being roped into the Pain Clinics, get out while you have the chance,they are killing you ,your liver,kidneys,you period.Go get help and get on Subutex,I promise you will fee like someone just turned a light swithch on.Good luck,and God Bless all of you~Read More Read Less

I have had severe pain in my neck and during the time before my doctor operated on me I was taking too much Vicodin2.Subutex helped me put that down and I am happily clean and sober. I personally suggest a 12 step program to anyone who wants to quit. It hels so much to know that you're not alone and that someone else has "walked the walk ".

this drug has been nothing short of a life saver. I began taking pain killers after an accident, and a year later I was in full blown addiction. You get to the point where you are just so tired of having your life revolve around finding your next pill. The pills did nothing but ruin my life, relationships, and finances. I finally had enough and got prescribed subutex. It has worked so good, no withdrawls, no cravings, just makes you appreciate life and love life. I can happily say I am clean, my finances are back, and most impt. i have my life back, nomore worrying about who has pills or anything. I wake up everyday so happy. The mental problems I suffered from severe withdrawl of Subutex were the most frightening experience that I've ever had.I pray to God that I do not run out , again.I do not know how I will EVER get off of this drug.It was necessary to take this drug but now what?

subutex saved my life thanx to all whom created it and whom mprescribed it! i was beaten abused raped starved and tortured growing up . i had 2 older brothers whom were very abusive they thought that torture and pain was a erotic turn on for them. whenever i would tell my mom she would start giving me these pills to stop the pain it kept me from telling anyone because we knew they would take us from our mother. anyway i grew up taking this medication on a daily basis not knowing what was really going on . as i became an adult i started to understand what was really happening to me. i then sought treatment. methadone didnt work. going back to street drugs didnt work finally i stumbled across subutex. now the doctors are weaning me off! i am scared to death of the withdrawel i will not go through that agai, why cant they understand that some of us just can not produce dopamine anymore i am not ready but they r making me! i live i n tennessee please help me to find a dr. that will listen to me and help me instead of taking my money and acting like they care, when all it is =, is a money racket please lost and desperate in tn.Read More Read Less

This medicine saved my life.

It was hard at first, but has the side effects that it caused likes sleepiness, nausea. After that was gone it was great, not a craving one.

I have been taking subutex for 3 years in Aug,2010. First to treat opiate (prescription) addiction withdrawal, but now, my doctor has me taking it for chronic pain.

This drug is a miracle drug. It curbs my cravings and gives me a sense of well being that I've never had before. The only draw back is that when I take it I seem to have trouble urinating and also I have trouble achieving orgasm. Those are two big problems for me and I'm trying to adjust the dose so that I don't have those problems but other than that this drug is great! It's a lifesaver!

I know this is a bit soon , because I've only been on Subutex 2 days, but, I feel f****** amazing. My whole body hurt ., and it was the worse pain I'd ever felt. I truly had suicidal thoughts because I just couldn't take it any more. So I went to an institution, and they did nothing but make things worse, and I was ready to give up. I talked to my Psych doc, and he put me on this miracle drug. Thank you, thank you, thank you, to whoever was involved in the making of this drug!!!

Saved my life and manages my chronic pain.
