I have been taking Viagra for about 6 yrs now, and fing it only works about half the time. I have HBP, and a spinal cord disease, and I find if I prolong taking my meds for the day until after sex, it works better for me. I take Fosinipril for HBP and 3 types of Oxycodone for pain. I don`t have any problems when I take my pain meds and Viagra, but if I take HBP meds, Viagra wont work. When it works, it really works well. I always take it on an empty stomach (100mg). I cut pill in half, chew first half and swallow with a lot of water, then I take the other half about 15 mins. later. The only drawback is I hate forgoing my regular regimen of HBP meds, as I`m used to taking them at the same time daily, But as we all know, when you get horny, or your better half is feeling frisky, there is no substitute for pleasing your partner, and yourself. I guess what I`m trying to say is maybe other meds are affecting the way Viagra works in your system. Talk to your Dr. to make sure this is safe for you if you also have underlying conditions. I've had ED since my first sexual experience at about 22 years of age due to extreme and prolonged child abuse. I took 50mg on three occasions. One session lasted about an hour and I had to quit from exhaustion. Only once was I able to ejaculate. Seeing the joy on my girlfriend's face is worth the price of the pill.

I have a problem getting an erection. I am 62 years old. If I do get one I can not maintain it. My doctor gave me a scrip for Viagra in 100 MG pills. It has saved my sex life and my wife is extremely happy. I can get an erection very easily now and maintain it until she is satisfied. We are so much happier now.

I've been using viagra at the 50 mg dose and have had good erections. I tried cialis and didn't get the same hard erections. Another problem is that my job restricts me to wait 6 hours for viagra and 36 hours for cialis before I can work. My wife thanks viagra for returning our lovelife.

I can get and maintain an erection 100% of the time within 45 minuets.

Didn't work for me. Took 100mg on empty stomach and no change. I'm sure they work well for others, but too much $$ to keep trying forever for me. I guess it depends on the person. Good luck!

So far it is working good for me. Only used it twice and was able to finish the job each time. no side effects so far.

I was prescribed 100 mg and I guess for me it works about 50% the time. The only issue for me is don't drink alcohol prior and don't use with any prescription pain meds. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I got warm and my face flushed.

Guys, listen up.This is not a cure all. You have to experiment to see what works for you. First, you are paying by the pill and it's crazy exspensive. Buy a pill splitter and cut your price in half or by 75% depending on the dossage you need. It takes practice to get a perfect cut but i'ts worth the effort. If you drink alcohol you'll have to see how much you can consume with out diminishing results which is about 6 beers for me. Also I have found that I can take it at 10 or 11 at night and wake up with a raging hard on the next day which works out perfectly in my relationship and lasts till late afternoon. I first began having problems maintaing an erection 7 years ago after having first stent placed in corinary arteries. After one year of stuggling with it I mentioned it to my Internst, who just smiled and said he wondered when I would mention it. Works great. I am only 40. Started having problems about a year ago. Got a sample pack from Dr. with 6 pills. The first three I took worked perfectly. Took on empty stomach or at least one hour after a meal. Within an hour, took effect. Makes my face flush and nose run (common side effects) The fourth time I took it, I split the pill in half to see if it would work at lower dose (I was taking a 50mg dose) This DID NOT work. I dont know if it was the lower dose, if it had something to do with what I ate beforehand (Mexican food), or if your not supposed to split them. I'm pretty young at 41, but I was having problem maintaining an erection throughout the course of sex. It has helped me greatly and improved my wifes satisfaction. Gentlemen if your wife is having to work to hard get this and you may see what I've seen sex better and more often.
