I have been using niacinamide for anxiety issues and today is the forth day.I'm feeling much better, a little bit tired but my anxiety is calmed a lot. I started in low dosage 50 mg twice a day for three days and i'm planning to take 100 mg three time a day. I think the dosage depends on the person but i advice anyone to increase it slowly until confortable.

I was given niacinamide to treat a skin problem that the dermatologist could not diagnose. He thought it might be a niacin deficiency. I got a bloody noses within 30 minutes each time I took a niacinamide pill so I had to stop. It didn't do anything for the skin problem either.

I heard this drug was good for arthritis, which I have. My vet also recommended niacinamide for my arthritic dog as well. I tried the 500 mg. Tablets, which were obviously way too strong for me. Within a couple of days of taking one pill per day, I began having leg cramps and considerable throbbing in one leg, in my calf. I thought I had a blood clot. Perhaps the dose was just too high for me.

I take this medication for Acne and I have been taking it for years and my face has never been more clear and smooth. I love it. Nothing else worked for me and I hate taking antibiotics so this is a great remedy for Acne.

I used niacinamide for anxiety and it was great in the first week.I was feeling really good and very calm.I took 150mg divided in three doses a day. Suddently after a week it stopped working even though I increased the dosage in 400mg.Nothing It made me feel nausous and that's it.I felt I was taking too much so overmedicated. So I dont know what to think about it. But I can tell it was like a miracle the first day.I felt full of life, energy and nothing could stop me do whatever I wanted. So pitty it doesnt work again.:(Read More Read Less

I have an autoimmune blistering skin disorder that is very rare. I've been through a lot of medication and niacinamide right now is working very well for me. My dermatologist prescribed it to suppress my immune system along with an antibiotic (tetracycline). I take 2 500mg pills of each other them twice a day. The antibiotic made me nauseous every time I took it and it got to the point that I was vomiting, so I stopped taking it. Now I am only taking the niacinamide and it is keeping my blisters under control very well along with Ultravate ointment. I am very pleased because the blistering has been very hard to control in the past.Read More Read Less
