This medicine does seem to work well for ear infections and swimmers ear for me. I do notice other side effects though. When I use them my eye on the same side as the ear become irritated and dry. Also I can sometimes taste something funny in my mouth and get a mild sore throat on that side as well. I'm guessing it's because they are all sort of connected. Overall the benefits totally outweight th...

should also state that if you are allergic to SULFUR drugs do NOT take this, I took it literally once and was so sick, got hives and facial swelling.

I have psoriasis in my outer ears which caused me to itch until I bled. I still had my hearing at the time in my left ear. I went to a family doctor for the first time and she prescribed me Neomycin Polymyxin B Sulfate and Hydrocortisone Otic Suspension and this was the worst experience ever. After using for 5 consecutive days, my ears were extremely itchy and were clogged. I knew something was wrong because I lost hearing in my left ear. I stopped using it and went to see an ENT Doctor who had to vacuum a layer of dry skin that was covering my ear drums. I still can’t hear but it could be due to swelling in my ear. He prescribed me with fluocinolone oil 0.01% ear drops so I’ll see how it goes! Read More Read Less

Avoid this medicine. I have fullness in my ear as I'm typing this. 3 days in, dizziness and sharp pain. I went for my right ear after swimming in a lake, no problem with my left. Urgent care doc recommended to treat the left ear too. My left ear is so uncomfortable I could cry. Praying I figure out what to do. I need relief soon. I would not take this and wish I had researched beforehand. Besides the fullness, my ear is swollen and sore to touch all around. I've had ear drops over the years and this is not okay. This drug should not be on the market. Read More Read Less

This medication worked great for me. I was diagnosed with swimmers ear and used the medicine for 10 days with no problems. My rx was only 15.00 which was also a bonus.

After limited use, I experienced noticeable hearing loss and constant tinnitis. I ended up using this medication because the presciption given me by primary care physician was outside my affordabilty range. $300 to be exact. Another giant rip off from Big Pharma. You were expecting anything less?

Iâ??ve used these ear drops for swimmers ear symptoms before with no problems. I used it recently and then I had pressure, pain and loss of hearing. I stopped using it right away and one week later I still canâ??t hear from that ear. Taking antibiotics hasnâ??t helped to get my hearing back.

After using this medication for one day, my ear stopped up and I could hardly hear. Stopped using the drops and it became better. Now I have a ringing that never stops. The docter says there is nothing he can do. Please do not use this medication

My 8 year old daughter was prescribed this medication for her ear canal being irritated. The instant the drops were put in she complained of severe pain and she could not hear our of that ear. she described it as having a bubble in her ear. the pain did not go away until several hours later when I gave her the over the counter ear drops.

I have been using this medication for two days and I can hardly hear out of my right ear. There is intense ringing in my right ear. It is still somewhat painful from the infection. Seems to be getting worse instead of better.

Started treatment on Tuesday. It is now Sunday and very little improvement. I was given an anti-inflammatory to lower the swollen. I stopped taken the pills because they did nothing. I am back on over the counter Advil gel tabs. I have noticed a little hearing loss from the drops, I am hoping it is just a fight from the infection and that it will be over soon. I have read to contact the doctor if it contuse over 10 days. Let's hope it doesn't

I used these drops for 4 days and had to discontinue because of a numb tongue (on the same side as the affected ear) and a loss of taste. It's been 5 days since I stopped and I still have a constant terrible taste in my mouth that prevents me from enjoying any food or drink.

My daughter (8 years) had extreme pain when we gave her these drops. She cried so hard - not sure this can be helping her and would be extremely difficult to continue giving to her.
