I have been using Testim for 3 or 4 years. A sense of well being and it has acted as an anti depressant. It has almost been a "Fountain of Youth" for me. I think the very light scent is pleasant. This drug has been wonderful for me.

I felt more energy with the first treatment. It gives a boost both mentally and physically, not just a sexual benefit. My wife does not like it because of the precautionary statements, but I feel a lot better than I have in months.

I'm no longer a loner because I always have a boner ! What more can I say ?

Just started taking Testim. I was diagnosed with low T 5 years ago. Doctor had me on Androgel for 3 and half years. That ended when my T levels shot up to over 1400. Doctor took me off of Adrogel completely. I was fine for the next 9 months, but then I noticed a lack of energy, and most importantly, lack of sex drive and the ability to maintain an erection longer than a few minutes. I was tested and my levels were back down to 200. Now Doc has put me on Testim. So far I don't know how its working. Too soon. But I do NOT like the smell at all. It's very strong and my wife and daughters complain about it all the time. I'm going to give it 2 weeks and if I don't see a noticeable improvement, I'm calling the Doc and asking to be put back on Androgel. I know that works for me. I am a 34 year old male diagnosed with low T around 3 months ago. I have been taking Testim for 3 months and my testosterone levels are still only around 120. My dr. Has since doubled my dose & I am still waiting to see if this helps. I still experience symptoms of low T such as loss of erection, fatigue, low energy, depression & low sense of well being. I will try to repost in a month or so with an update. Also be aware of osteoporosis because I have had a bone density scan and have already had significant bone loss.please keep in mind I'm only 34 so my bone density and testosterone should both be at peak levels.Read More Read Less

After 2 weeks my sex drive was back and I was feeling great as well as working hard at the gym. After 4 months I am depressed, hair has thinned and I am exhausted just typing this.

I am a 38 years old white male and late last year I found out that my testosterone level was very low (205). The Urologist prescribed Testim due to having alot of symptoms (i.e. low energy level, no sex drive, lack of erections, depression), so I started taking Testim on 1/01/10 and after three (3) weeks my testosterone level was in the mid 500's. However, it has been almost 7 weeks and I have not noticed any improvements. I am still depressed (I am on an anti-depressant too), tired all the time and I actually think I have less of a sex drive than I did before taking the medicine and I have a decrease in erections. On the positive side my partner says that my mood has been more stable, but I can't tell a difference. I am going to give it 6 months (since it is free)and hope to see some improverment soon. this stuff is STINKY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it makes you smell bad and takes days for the smell to subside.....ask for a sample before trying

I have been on Androgel which has worked well. I ran out and my doctor gave me a sample pack of Testim. I don't know if it works because I could not stand the stickiness or the smell. It's like a cheap aftershave that lasts forever. I would never use Testem unless these problems were eliminated. I am back on Androgel.

I just started using Testim, so I don't know how well it will work for me, but I didn't want to comment on the smell for those with allergies. Since I stared using it the smell, which isn't bad, made me sneeze & cough a lot. The smell kind of reminds me of the hair gel my mom used on me when I was a kid. I'm getting used to it.

The daily application of the gel becomes an unpleasant chore. I feel like a walking post-it note. My undershirts stick to the application area and I have to peel them off. When washing any application area it turns slimy and feels as though it never fully rinses off. I am going to explore the transdermal patch.

I've taken testim for two weeks and havent noticed any improvements with erections or desire. I've read that it can take a few weeks for results though. I used to take testim a year ago and I slept with a kick stand all nite long. hoping forthe same results soooooon. My T was at 200 before, and would like to see it around 700. The scent is awesome and masculine. I've received compliments from both male and female family members.

My husband is on testim. He never told me that he was on it, but I am a nurse and see the tubes sometimes. At first I liked the smell, but now I wish they would make it scent -free. It puts a cedar like smell on all of his shirts. I have a rash on one arm, and I believe it is from the gel. What are the side effects for women if it does get on our skin? I know he does not have any problems with erections or libido, so ther than the rash and the scent, I am happy.

At Age 69, diagnosed with hypogonadism. Initially tried monthly shots. Switched to Testim 50mg/day. Testosterone level now ~ 1,000nl. Apply immediately after morning shower. Strong libido - sex 2.5 times per week average. Feeling well and confident.

About 18 months ago, at the age of 62, I started to have many of the signs of low testosterone - ED, loss of libido, depression and loss of strength. My doctor tested me and my total T was at 304 ng/dl. He put me on 5 gm of Androgel and after 2 months it was 357. He upped it to 7.5 gm and it was at 277 after another 4 months and I still had all the signs of low T. I read that Testim might absorb better and asked him to change me to 10 gm of Testim and he agreed. After 6 months on 10 gm of Testim, my total T was 862, but my free T, DHT and estradiol are a little high. I cut my Testim to 7.5 gm daily a month ago and I still feel great. I will get bloodd work in another month. While on Testim my libido is very good, the ED is almost completely gone and I no longer need Viagra, my depression is gone and my strength has returned and I an using more weight than I have in 5 years. After 7 months on Testim I am very happy with the results so far. The one thing that was better with Androgel is that it was not sticky after it dried, but then it didn't work for me either.Read More Read Less
