I want to start off by saying this drug is a miracle. I was in a rehab center for two weeks to detox off OxyContin. They gave me this drug expecting me to be off it in two weeks. I relapsed 3 days after i was off this medicine because although the physical withdrawals were not present, the psychological cravings were. Also if you are psychologically dependent on this drug your body will stop produ...
Note that most of the reviews are people still ON this very powerful opiate. Very few get off of it, and those that do usually go through 6-24 months of PAWS. It should be a last resort for the hardest core junkies. It's essentailly methadone. Do your homework before you take this garbage...do yourself a favor and go cold turkey or in patient detox...seriously!!

I was addicted from pain management treatments over 12 years. This left me with addiction to both narcotics and then Methadone, but with chronic pain. Suboxone saved my life, literally and figuratively. My pain is virtually gone and the addiction is completely gone. After adding some Ultram and Baclofen to my regimine the pain is completely gone.

I have found that I do not crave or even consider wanting any type of a narcotic. It has been a wonderful experience and treatment for me.

I have been using opioids for the past 5 years and have been on methadone program for 2 years. I finally start taking Suboxone 8mg-2mg tablets twice a day for 2 weeks and I have been drug free for 1 month and 6 day. I can say if you want help you have to have faith in yourself and you will overcome your addiction.

I had severe diarrhea/vomiting for 2 months. I have also had swelling (eyes, hands, feet and legs) and continue to have this. I now have body-wide aches and pain, but have no relief options. I would welcome contact with the drug company. Thank you.

Suboxone is a wonder drug IN MY OPPINION, for anyone who has a pain pill addiction. Taking suboxone is like having your normal brain again with nothing clogging it. I've taken 80+ MGs of Oxycontin per day with 3 Xanax and 5-8 Lortabs as kickers each day. Suboxone helped me easily turn away from these drugs, BUT I WANTED TO.... People who do not want to stop snorting or stop shooting up, probably won't. But if you want to stop, then this may be the right option for you.... I now only take about 1/4 of a Suboxone per day, UNDER THE TOUNGE, and everything is going great. The entire process took only a week to bump down ... One pill, then halves, then quarters .... This stuff works ...... My time on Suboxone is only about one month ... My time on Oxycontin and other Drugs is 5+ Years ... Read More Read Less

I have been addicted to herion since I was 17 yrs old. These meds are the devil! I was told it would be part of a 3 month treatment program, but 3 months turned into 3 years! I've detoxed from dope more times then I can count, even though I went back to it I successfully made it though withdrawls w/ NO MEDS! Not so w/ Suboxone I've tried countless times to quit, and I couldn't seem to beat it. I lost 2 very high paying jobs and almost my wife because of this " miracle drug ", my suggestion if you're a herion addict just go to the doctor and knock youself out for a week or so, I haven't used this drug for about 7 days and withdrawls from Suboxone make herion detox seem like a summer vaction that you ate bad seafood and got very very mild case of food poisioning. If you are thinking of taking this medication, I urge you to try other options. Methadone is refered to as "liquid Handcuffs" Methadone detox is like a very mild 3-5 day flu. This drug carries by far the worste withdrawls of any drug you can think of, and believe me I've been through them all no problem, The entire time I've been detoxing I haven't even been able to stand up. The drug is great at masking the withdrawl symtoms of herion, methadone, oxycontin, or any other narcotic pain killers, so if you're worried the withdrawls of any of the above, Suboxone trumps them all, the cure is worse than the affliction. If you start this medication, you may NEVER BE ABLE TO STOP! I happened to find a doctor that used to have a morphine addiction, so he knew exactly what I'm going through. I will do you a huge favor, if you've read this much you deserve one. Go to your doctor and ask for Clonidine (for blood pressure), Klonopin (anxiety), Phenergan (nausea/vomiting), Vistaril (anxiety and to help you sleep), and Xanax (Xanax is VERY HABIT FORMING) It's a totally different detox thats very strange, depressing, and excurating. Xanax is very helpfull, but since you can't O.D. I believe it's the most dangerous drug ever!Read More Read Less
