I like that I can actually listen to a person and hear the whole conversation for the first time in my life. Adderall has also helped with my constant fidgeting. The thing I don't like about it though is that when I'm put into stressful situation I feel more anxiety than before I started the medication. And so far, even though I understand others better, I still find it challenging to process my own thoughts quickly and effectively. I have so many things popping into my head that it’s all just a jumble and I can’t get my ideas out in a way that works for others. Both my son and I have been on this medication. The medication did not work well on his ADHD, but it has worked miracles on my ADD. I am able to focus and complete tasks that for me would normaly go unfinished.

Adderall XR has changed my life for the better. My whole life I kept thinking I had to be the biggest procrastinator in the world. I couldn't get anything done. Once I started on Adderall, not only did I feel a sense of calm, I was easily able to focus on tasks and have accomplished many things. My only "side effect": losing 20 pounds that I have tried to lose for 15 years. It truly is a miracle drug for me. I only wish I had known about ADD earlier in my life.

I've been taking Adderall for over ten years. It's Been extremely helpful in my everyday life. I'm 23 now and still doing well on it. The dosage has been tweaked over the years, but the end result is always the same, success.

I have been taking adderal for approximately two years now. I worry that I will have a heart attack and that I am too dependent on this drug. However, I'm too afraid of life off of it to alleviate that fear.

As an adult female who has been taking this drug for years I would warn against it. It works well for me, although it took a long time to find the correct doseage-10mg, but I could NEVER imagine giving this to a child. I am on a low dose and I really feel side effects. Such as tenseness, irratation, lightheadedness, and I just am not myself when I take it. Although the drug does work, I would only recommend it for adults that know their bodies well and know how and when it works for them. It does have sexual side effects as well.
