I have been on this medication for years now the only thing that i have a problem with is that it makes you feel drunk and if i take it i have to lay down right away. Not only that but if i don't take it AS SOON AS I feel the migrain, it won't work

I was prescribed this medication yesterday when I went into an urgent care clinic. I started having migraine symptoms due to my TMJ. The doctor did not think I had migraines and that was just a self diagnosis which I was upset about. Cluster Head aches:
I was subscribed for cluster head aches. Since they come when I am sleeping between 2 am and 5 am. I can take one as soon as I feel it coming on and go back to bed. It took about 20 min to take effect but I was able to go back to sleep and woke up by 8 am. Did not feel drunk or fuzzy headed but it could be because I was sleeping. Felt good to sleep most of the night. Worked well for me and I only need to take 1 when the head ache starts. No more than one a day.

I share the same experiences as the others. Works great if taken early, takes longer to help if taken at the nausea stage of the migraine. Just take one or two (depending on your dose of course), eat a little (acetaminophen is hard on empty stomach), lay down in your cave and relax. Hope this helps.

When I have tension headaches or migraine, I take one pill and the headaches goes away after about 30'. I only take one pill for each headache episode, Maybe once a month What I don't like is that my insurance doesn't cover it

I was prescribed this medication yesterday when I went into an urgent care clinic. I started having migraine symptoms due to my TMJ. The doctor did not think I had migraines and that was just a self diagnosis which I was upset about. He said he can prescribe me this medication to help with the headache, however, he did not inform that this was what he prescribed. I learned about this when I picked it up from the pharmacy. I told them my concerns for dizziness with new medication and all they said was that it was a side effect. I took about 5 tablets yesterday between 10am and 9pm. I woke up this morning feeling a little dizzy. I took two tabs this morning as I had a slight headache. Within 30 minutes to an hour I started to feel very lightheaded and dizzy. I started crying. I was worried about driving to work but I had no choice. I did notice the intoxication feeling while driving which I am worried about cause my job deals with driving. I contacted the doctors office twice this morning regarding these issues and waiting on a call back. This is frustrating. On top of it not really helping my headache completely. Read More Read Less

I took this for tension headaches, if you wait too long to take it, its slow to kick in. I also recommend taking this med at home and not out and about at work or school, this med causes faint spells and drowsiness!

I took this years ago for migraines, so when they returned, I asked my Dr for this med. TRUE, it can make you feel "drunk", so use caution. Take it, lie down, and stay there awhile. Someone mentioned taking more than the one, but, I would consult your DR first.

If you start taking it once you feel the headache come on it works, however, if you let the pain get bad it does not work.

I take this drug for tension headaches caused mostly by bad case of TMJ. The problem is I don't take it until I have a headache. It doesn't work that well and I am considering taking 2 at a time.
