This was in the form of eye drops. Irritation developed but not horribly as the eye was already irritated I had to use hourly during day and every other hour at night. Eventually, it caused EXCESSIVE urination which was a real obstacle as I work full time and am very active. The frequency was approximately every 10 minutes!!! There was no pain, burning or irritation. JUST CONSTANTLY URINATIING. It was unlike a bladder/urinary tract infection as I actually evacuation a good amount every single time. This was with watching my liguid intake stringently to the point that it was not healthy for me. I did not drink my regular ginger tea, water and cranberry juice as usual. Some times I restricted my liquid intake to pill swallowing only. But the urination persisted. I lost a total of 12 pounds in approximately five weeks. I was not aware of this side affect until I had been taking the medicine for two weeks. I went to my primary care dr., had some type of test there (negative) had a urninalysis taken (negative) and was getting concerned. Looked thru all patinent info and then I went on line to research.
