I am fortunate to be one who does not develop addictions, but dependency is inevitable, when used for as long as I have. The current dem...
Helps my pain without feeling the stupidness that comes with some other pain meds that I have taken.

Vicodan, percoset, tramedol were all like taking a vitamin. This, combined with valium, gave me the first good night sleep i have had in months and I feel almost pain free. It does make me feel "thick-headed" snd slightly disassociated. That matters less to me than the pain relief.

I have severe back pain. I have had surgery epidural injection and many pain killing injections, and pain killers. This pain killer is very effective and makes life almost pain free.

I broke my humerus bone and was put on 4mg every 4 hours. Worked well for about 3 weeks, nausea/vomiting at first, although built up a tolerance after about 2 weeks.

Used at home post-op hysterectomy. Benedryl in conjunction with this med to counteract its allergic reaction: severe skin itchiness. Worked fairly well. Dilaudid had negative affect on bowel movements. Very constipating.

8mg didn't cut it; upped to 12mg/4hours; bad side effects - ITCHINESS, shortness of breathe, nausea, hallucinations, foggy vision - are just a few of the negative side effects.

After having a plate put in my fractured wrist I was given 2mg tablets of this medication for pain. Did not work at all. Felt like I was taking nothing. After spending a night in pain, switched to percodone and had much relief.
