I have been dealing with chronic pain for years. This med is pretty helpful. I use it along with a muscle relaxant and one for nerve pain. The three together work in concert, but it's not all that great on it's own, because it's one I've developed a tolerance to. I am fortunate to be one who does not develop addictions, but dependency is inevitable, when used for as long as I have. The current dem...

I got extremely ill, spent quite a bit of time in the restroom. It didn't seem to help my pain. I have torn both of my rotator cuffs.

After using Oxycontin i found that this medication took 4 days before i received any relief. This medication relieved my pain without the dizziness and nausea of oxycontin, also relieved me of being constipated.

I was put on this medication (2mg) for undiagnosed pelvic pain after being on percocet 5-325 for 7 months. the percocet was no longer effective, this medication helps most of the time but usually does not rid me fully of the pain. i often get headaches from it and trouble breathing as well. otheer than that i am pretty happy with it!

Due to migraine pain I was originally given dilaudid in the ER room and it worked immediately and left me out of it. My neurologist prescribed hydromorphone (generic dilaudid in tablet form) and have felt NO relief. I get light headed, very sleepy, chest pain and terrible nausea. The migraine is still there and now I have more issues to deal with. I'm very sensitive to medications so others may feel relief.

I have been taking hydromorphone for over a year for chronic spine pain with nerve damage. I have had 10 spine surgeries in the past 36 months. However I finally had a successful operation with 3 levels fused and I am much better but I am afraid that I may have become addicted to the medicine and I think I may have been suffering from withdrawal. Be very careful about how you use this and constantly question your Dr. about addiction.
