It worked well but did burn going in and the site where my IV was is still painful the day after. I was happy to get relief without having to take a narcotic.

I have suffered from Migraines my entire life. I have tried everything with very little success. DHE has been a life saver for me!!!!!! It is the only thing that works for my migraines. The shot is so easy and I didn't feel a thing! :)

I have been given DHE 45 for a while now & I haven't noticed any big side effects, what I have noticed is a decrease in head pain which for me is phenomenal.

This drug was giver to my 17 year old who had a migraine for 4 weeks. The first round did no good, she was admitted to a second hospital and was given a second round with depakote and valium added. Glad to say today is day 5 with no headache!!!

This treatment did not work for me. I had this treatment in the hospital in Oct. and vomited after every treatment (every 8 hours for 3 days). Before the DHE, I had a migraine for 3 weeks and I left the hospital with it.

Had this drug over 3days in hospital, the side effects were horrific ,, and the headache did not go away

I have chronic daily migraines. My Dr. prescribed this for me to take on day 3 of a migraine, so as not to take too many triptans and get rebound headaches. I hate giving myself this shot in my thigh, it really hurts. But it is effective & will often take the headache away for two days.

I was given DHE for severe migraines a few years ago. It works wonders sometimes after 1 dose and sometimes after 2-3. When I started it I was on Topamax as a preventative, now I am on propranolol and I seem to get light headed with the DHE so I have stopped it.

The only complaint is that it was given by IV to myself over a 3 day period while admitted to a VA facility. Long time laying around but the result was great. It has been three days and it is the first three days that I can remember in months that I did not have a level 5 or higher headache.

This medicine has been a life savor for me. I do the injection when the aura starts and lie down ig I catch it during the aura I never have any actual pain. The only bad thing is the ampule!!! Its hard to draw up the med with an aura having to switch back and forth between needle when you can hardle see. I cant find a drug store in my area that can get viles????

I was given DHE for a migrain I had had for 10 weeks. The injecton affected me with sweats, rapid heart beat, trouble breathing. My doctor took me off of it for 24 hours then put the Medication in a bag of saline and administered it over a 72 hours period. I'm excited to say that the headache is gone, 25 days and counting, and I have had no side effects. DHE is the only thing we have found that works without putting me in a chemically indused coma. I have had daily migraines for 4 years. Was put in a hospital in Dallas for 5 davs to break the cycle using D.H.E. I felt like a millions dollars for the first time in 4 years. So sorry it didn't work for others.

this medicine is very strong and not worth the trouble for me anyhow. When it was being administered it gave me hot flashes and felt like my skin was crawling. In the end I still have my headache so I feel it is poor overall.

It was given to me intravenously at Meritcare Hospital. I hated this drug. It made the inside of my head feel like it were on fire. It made the pain so much worse I passed out and when I woke up I vomited. Would not recommend it to anyone and will never take it again.

Was given to me in at Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago, and almost caused a blood clot. It was given to me in an IV drip at their facility.
