I had the flu and had a sore throat and cough for 8 days - I was on an antibiotic also - but when the sore throat went away - I still had a BAD cough. My PCP ordered this for me and it did stop my cough. I used it mostly at night . It does work if you have a bad cough from a cold or the flu.

Doesn't seem to work for me. Took it to relieve congestion and get rid of my cough, Doc said it would knock me out so I could sleep. It didn't.

THIS MEDICATION FLIPPED ME OUT. IF YOU HAVE ANY ANXIETY DONT USE THIS MEDICATION. IT THREW ME RIGHT INTO A FULL FLEDGED PANIC, ANXIETY ATTACK. I HAD TO GO TO THE DOC AND GET SOMETHING TO PULL ME OUT OF IT. I WAS A TOTAL MESS.... I WILL CHECK WITH WEB MD BEFORE EVER TAKING MEDS AGAIN... D. TRISDALE
