It taste very good and easy to use but it did nothing for my couch, been coughing for 7 weeks.

Its very strong. Take 12 hours before you have to get up, not right before bed. Sleep like a rock... also lots of dreams. If you have a bad cold that is imparing proper rest/sleep, this could be the ticket.

terrible itching, dry mouth, and nervous

After 3 days of severe coughing and bruised ribs, this cough syrup was a God-send. It is quite pricey, but well worth it. Only take when you can dedicate AT LEAST 8 hours to resting/sleeping. It has been wonderful in allowing me to rest, in order to recover from the flu.

I had Bronchitis and within 1/2 hour my cough stopped. I had no side effects from it. The best cough syrup I have ever used.

The cough stopped, but I can't sleep and didn't realize that I am allergic to it!! It has codeine & I have been up all night with SEVERE stomach pain. I just developed this allergy so both my doctor & I were unaware of it. If you think you MAY BE allergic to codeine DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE YOU WILL THINK YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!!! I have taken it before with no ill effects & loved the results. Now I don't know what I'll do for my horrible cough!!

It DOES stop a cough and relieved my bronchitis, but it really disrupts normal sleep. I was very sleepy, to the point I couldn't see straight, but once in bed felt like I was tossing and turning all night.

The very best cough medicine in the world! It really stops the cough for about 12 hours but does make you feel wierd. Best to take when you can sit or lie down.

I have pneumonia and coughing too much. My chest was hurting from excessive coughing. THis medication has helped me not cough which is very helpful.

I was prescribed this cough medicine for my cough due to pneumonia. I have only taken one dose so far and have not coughed since I took it. It really works. Although it will make you feel like you are on cloud 9. Not sure how long that part will last. I strongly recommend this if you have a severe cough.

The best cough syrup ever! It has all sorts of mixtures like hydrocodone in it so it makes you woozy and talk out of your head. It is very expensive though.

I have taken this medication now for a little over 5 years. I only take it about once a month for cronic cough and sinus cough. I have coughed for years and my co-workers were tired of it. I took advair but it didn't relieve the cough. Even the codine would not stop it. I only take it at night for about 2 sometimes 3 days and I'm all cleared up! No runny nose or cough. It has been a blessing for me, cause I use to get chronic sore throats and brochitis. The only symptom I experienced was not being able to urinate, but only once in a while, not everytime. After weeks of coughing and spending a fortune on different cough syrups and decongestants I was given this. 2 days later and I feel as good as new. However the effects did leave me feeling wierd in the morning at work. But at least I finally slept!

This is the only drug that will work for my chronic cough, but the cost of $135.00 is not affordable. My drug insurance does not cover controlled substance. Where can it be purchased at a affordable cost? Please help..................

This medication is helpful in treating some cold symptons and helps sinuses. The effects are pretty long lasting and does help you sleep. Sides affects were mild and were not bad. I did get a headache when it started to wear off. You must drink plenty of fluids because it has a drying effect. Otherwise it is a good medication if you have a cold/cough and want to feel better.

This medication has worked well for me. I sleep thoughout the night without waking up coughing. The taste is very pleasant.
