I suffer from emphysemia & copd and P. aerug &was paying $755 monthly even with Medicare & a part D drug plan. The maker with work a financial arrangement if your Dr requests it. My husband & I did not qualify since SS benefits and his parttime job made us "too wealthy". However, I recently started gamma gobulin iv in the hospital once a month. Since it takes 4-5 hrs. I need to do my neb treatments there & they provide the Tobi for me since I'm not allowed to bring my own. Now there is no cost to me at all, even though the other days of the month I do the Tobi at home! Don't know if the one has to do with the other, but I'm keeping my mouth shut. I've taken it twice daily, every day, for 6 mon. Now only once a day every day. Works for me.Read More Read Less

This medication is IMPOSSIBLE to get within the USA when prescribed for at home use by persons who are on medicare a, b, OR d. The ONLY way to get it for less than FOUR-THOUSAND $$$ is inpatient hosp. Even medicare D will not preauth it.
