My 5 & 3 yr old received ring worm of the scalp from playing w/stray kittens. The medication takes several weeks to work. The medication had to be taken twice a day which made it a little difficult to remember. All in all the medication worked and it was very economical. My children had no side effects from the medication.

As I speak now am still taking this medication, its caused me skin rash and itching on the body, laziness, light headache and depression. however, the skin rash started disappearing in the 2nd week of treatment and headache is persisted and the fungal infection is healing, more update will be provided at the end of treatment course (3weeks).

My 15 yr old son got ringworm on arm from locker room. This med did not work at all and many wrestlers (he is not one of them) said the same and that it causes liver probs. Switched to Miconzazole nitrate cream. Wish pediatrician would have know this.

Prescribed by VA Dr. for toenail fungus. Takes a while to be effective, no side effects. Much cheaper than Lamisil.
