As of today I am 8 days into treatment of a total of 21 days. Feel much better, no side effects to speak of.

I had a minor cellulites infection and was prescribed this med, it seems to be working slowly. I have taken antibiotics before, but this medication has the worst side effects. Sweating nausea loss of appetite dizzyness lethargic and I'm pretty sure it gave me a bladder infection. Calling doc tomorrow. It's been almost 10 days but it helped but never completed treating my skin infection. I'm on my last 3 days of these meds they got to go.

This medication brought massive pain: headaches, nausea, stomach cramps, fever of 103.5, sweating, dizziness, low tolerance for light, and no appetite at all. I took it for four days on the fourth day I was unable to hold it down debating now after skipping a day just to eat if I should start again to assure the infection is gone. I wish there was another med that was able to clear up the infection without so many side effects.

I took two doses with no problems but the 3rd and 4th doses I had some really bad side effects that were very debilitating. Chills, stiff sore neck,weakness, headache and stomach cramps. I didn't like this at all.I have since called my doctor about the problem to see if there is another antibiotic to use. I have never had any reactions to medications til just now.

I had an allergic reaction. I have a rash all over my body.

I have taken 10 out of the 20 pills. My symptoms have not changed, and I have developed a horrible, chest racking cough, and I am constantly tired. I also feel like I was hit by a truck every time I wake up. I will talk to my pharmacist asap. I cant afford another doctor's visit.

I have taken 5 of the 20 pills prescribed, I feel terrible - its not working. I am also having an allerigic reation of itching. I will call my doctor when they open.

Was prescribed for UTI while on business trip. Symptoms subsided after 3rd dose. HOWEVER, almost immediately experienced severe stomach pains, muscle aches, loss of appetite, fever, sore teeth, itching, dizziness. shortness of breath and paleness. Stopped drug after 5th dose. I have a high threshhold for pain, but could not stand this. Will see my family doctor for another medication.

some itching started after five days but not bad.i will finish all the medicine.

I have been on the meds for three days and feel much better no side effects.

After taking as prescribed (take one tablet by mouth twice daily) I took my first two doses the first and second day but after falling asleep on my couch on the second day I woke up around midnight and decided to go into my bed when I tryed to get up into a standing position I couldn't hardly get up due to severe pain in my upper left leg, I felt a knot about the size of a quarter . The next morning I couldn't bear weight on my left leg and in a spot between the side of my left leg and the back of my left leg the knot grow to the size of just bigger than a golf ball, looking at it with a mirror the area was light pink and looked just like Shigells, the rest of the day it got worse and turned to a medium pink. I stopped taking the medicine the second day and today being the 6th day only the pain remains. So from the 3rd day to now by stopping this med. what I belive would have turned into Shinells now is getting better. I'll never take this "Sulfameth/Trimeth DS" tables made by (?"Lan"?) company nor any common drug in this category of meds.Read More Read Less

The side affects are awful! Racing heart, dizziness, anxiety, and nausea just to name a few.

Still useing as of 7/24/08.

I have been on medicine for 5 days and have no pooped since the first day I took it. Don't know if that should be a concern or now.
