I have a 4 yr. old who has been perscribed this medication for the treatment of ringworm of the scalp. My 2 year old has ringworm of the scalp. It seems to take forever to get rid of it almost 8 weeks. It can be flavored so that it makes it easier to give.

My 7 year old son contracted ringworm of the scalp from school and the doctors prescribed this medication for him. It is highly effective for treatment of this particular fungal infection. He has been on this medication for 3 days and already they are clearing up. He also has had no side effects whatsoever to this medication.
