I have been on this. Med for years. My gastroenterologist has prescribed 4 pills daily. My complaint is this med makes me feel drunk(in a stupor). Needless to say I don't go places as much as I used to. My Gastro told me this is the best colon med right now. Anyone have any suggestions?

I just started taking this yesterday for IBS.. so far the extreme cramping seems to be letting up. The first time I took it, it made me feel as if I had been drinking alcohol; sort of like when you are sedated for a medical procedure. I did not like that feeling. Then i fell asleep, it was bedtime. Today I took four doses and I am getting relief!! I DO NOT have the altered feeling anymore.... We shall see what happens... I really think it is working, as I have NO cramping!!

The medication has worked great. I have had way less episodes of IBS. This drug also is wonderful for cramps from my monthly period.

I have chronic pancreatitis, an extremely painful condition. I started having an extreme amount of gas that I couldn't pass, I couldn't even burp after drinking a 20 oz soda. It was putting alot of pressure on my pancreas, making it much worse. Dicyclomine helped me pass gas and burp within hours and 4 months later it's still working wonders!

IT makes me sleepy all the time and it did not help with my irritable bowel syndrome.

Had 20 inches of colon removed and I should be sitting on the toilet when I eat, I have such diaharri. I take two a day.

I have severe stomache cramping when I cannot empty out (which is all the time). As soon I take the medication it helpm me almost immediately. I am going to stay on meds, instead of using when unbearable cramping occurs. I also experienced immeditate results with disposal the last severe attack I had was yesterday. I never noticed the disposal relief before only the pain relief. I hope this is a new beginning.....My condition prevents me from disposing naturally, and sometimes even with miralax I cannot dispose for sometimes weeks at a time. Read More Read Less

i have IBS/D. ican't go out side or tavel without afraid i wll have to go to go to the restroom.. as mater of fact i just went to the grocrey and had to go and what a mess i had it all over my clothes in my shoes and in my socks.

Having my gall bladder removed because of a 2.7cm stone. My doc gave me this and it's helped with the symptoms until the gall bladder is removed. Hopefully won't have to take it anymore after that.

This medication has been working for me for years. I don't take it everyday. I only take it when having flair ups which will happen usually several times a month.

I was taking this drug and the Doc. took Me off it is causes lite head

I found this medication too strong. After taking it I was feeling dizzy and of balance. I am medication intolerant and maybe 10mg is too much for me.

I was having severe lower abdominal pain also back pain that ran down both legs went to the ER the pain was so severe they did a CT scan and found i had a moderate impacted bowel not having this before i can tell you it is very painful they gave me the dicyclomine it helped with in 30 minutes the pain was tolerble.
