My son has been on and off this medication for ten months. It works but then the ringworm keeps coming back. I hope after this treatment, it's gone for good.

I had large skin surface involved with athlete's foot and I just about used every cream out there and the fungus that I had was extremely virulent. I started with a very small spot on my right foot and within 3 weeks. It had spread to my feet and half of my right hand and up to my right wrist. After reading a lot about oral antifungals. I decided to go with "Gris-peg". I took 250mg twice a day for a month and within 5 days it started to go away. After about 2 weeks it was totally gone. But I wanted to finish my course, so I took it another 2 weeks just to make sure it would not re-occur. This medication is very expensive, it can go for $7.00 dollars per pill. I got a script from doctor, but it was so expensive. I decided to buy it off the internet without a script from an international pharmacy. For 60 pills along with shipping it came out to $71.00 dollars. The medication came in Unit doses ro blister packs of 10 pills x 6 blister packs with the company logo of "Glaxo Smith". This was a very effective treatment with just slight side effects. Towards the end of my course around 3 weeks I noticed that I kind of lost my appetite. But once I stopped everything went back to normal. I would not recommend this medication, if you are dealing with a small area. But I would recommend this medication if you dealing with skin surfaces. It definitely does the job. And but the way after my athlete's resolve itself, I threw all my socks and shoes and started with new stuff. The Fungus never came back. Read More Read Less

Very effective no side effects, did not harm kidney, took 1 tablet a day as suggested by physician. Saw results in less than 3months. I can now wear my sandels with open toe this summer. However, they are a bit expensive.

Make sure you doctor know about any and I many any health conditions you child my have because it will truly react to lots of them. Information here does not provide all interation that it reacts with. However, it does work and my son skin was clearing up very well in a very short time He has severe ezma and with the ringworms it was really really bad. Iyokyei 2009Read More Read Less
