I guess I'm the only one that's had 100% luck with this drug. Started taking it 3 days ago and haven't had any side effects at all. Taking a nice cocktail of of Augmentin and Prednizone steroid. Started feeling much better after the second dose. I guess this drug just isn't for everyone.

My illness started with Sinusitus, then Chronic Bronchitis, onto pnemonia. After Dr.s tried a gammit of other meds, I used Augmentin. Within 14 days, the illmess was gone. I've been through this dozens of times with the same results.

My granddaughter was bit on the cheek under her eye. This medication was prescribed to help with the infection from the insect bite. We administered the medication once daily for7 days. It worked tremendously. The unidentified insect bite or sting caused a huge swelling and infection. The swelling and infection were dramatically reduced within a week.

Prescribed for a staph skin infection. 1st dose I took with a meal & was vomiting for the next 6 hours. It was awful, I thought I might die. The best part is it didn't work at all.

On day 7 I developed an itchy rash all up and down my arms and legs (including the palms of my hands) I just called the Dr.'s office and they said they don't know if it's a reaction- they've never heard of that with Augmentin?!?! After reading the posts here I think it may be time to change doctors!

I have been on for 7 days. Pills are hard to swallow. My stomach always aches and feels like I want to throw up. Extreme gas and bloating feels like my insides are being squashed and hard to breat. Ankles swell, headaches and foggy/dizzy feeling all the time. This is not the first time on this med, have it maybe 3x a year and feel this way everytime. I have to use it for chronic sinusitis.

Started taking it 6 hours after the bite to the leg trying to be proactive. Saw signs of the infection (red and swollen leg and body aches) later that evening. Infection symptons continued for 24 hours but then the drug kicked in and symptons started to disappear. I am 8 days into it and no major side affects except some mild diarrhea. Glad I was proactive.

TOOK 875 MG AUGMENTIN TWICE A DAY. AFTER 3 DOSES I BEGAN VOMITING, GOT HEADACHES ANE THEN MY BACK, HIPS, NECK AND LEGS AND OTHER JOINTS BEGAN TO ACHE. IT TOOK SEVERAL DAYS AFTER STOPPING THE MEDICATION FOR MY JOINTS TO STOP HURTING....MY BACK IS STILL SORE OVER ONE WEEK LATER. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE THAT I HAVE HAD A BAD REACTION TO A MEDICATION. I CERTAINLY WON'T BE TAKING AGAIN.

Took it for sinus infection. Sinus infection is still there but not as bad. Have not gotten any rashes or hives but have chest pains, which I think is from meds. Feels like someone is sitting on my chest...have been taking it for 7 days now, 2x's day.

My doctor prescribed me this after one of my incisions after surgery got infected. The directions said to eat a small meal with it, and so I did. Within 45 minutes of taking it, I was vomiting so bad, that I couldnt leave the bathroom for 6 hours, then it started coming out the other end of my body. THIS DRUG IS HORRIBLE!!! Its been 3 days now since i took the first and only dose, and I still don't feel right. NEVER AGAIN!!!

I was given this drug for sinus infection, 875mg, 4-6x per day. developed severe rash all over body, constipation, vomiting, and abdominal cramps, My local pharmacist informed me I was overdosed by doctor.

skin cleared. But the diarrhea was just never ending over 2 weeks. Did not realize it was from this drug. thought I had food poisoning or something! Headaches were pretty bad too, don't think I'll ever take this again.

Dr.perscribed Augmentin 875mg for a sinuses infection, I have been exspelling alot of flem from throat and nose,which makes me feel good just knowing that my body is ejecting the infection. I get slight headaches that last all day, and I'm getting constipated; I started drinking prune juice to help loosing up.Augmentin is working for me, but it's just too many days to take (twice a day- 10 days)

After 4 days, the sinus problem went away but in the meantime, I developed itching "all over", a vaginal infection, and WORST of all, I developed severe chest pains. I thought I was having a heart attack. I am still waiting for a doctor to call be back about the severe reaction I am having to this HORRIBLE drug !!!!

The first dose made me vomit for four hours. Was fine for the next four days, then terrible stomach pain and diarrhea so stopped medicine for two days. Started it again thinking yogurt would help, but became extremely nauseous even though I took it with a lot of food. Am thinking of calling doctor. Finger was not infected per examination on third day, but do not want to get a resistant super-bug type infection. Are there alternatives?

My new doctor prescribed this medication for my sinusitis. Overall it seemed to take care of the sinus infection however, I experienced nausea and fever-like night sweats. In the past I have been prescribed Z-pak and did not experience any side effects. In the future I will request a Z-pak, which is also taken for a shorter period of time than Augmentin, rather than take Augmentin again.

I have been taking this for eight days, my sinus infection feels like it is getting better. However, the past three days I have had sever leg pain, like I just run up ten flights of stairs. And I have had a constant headache sense my first dose. I am hoping the pain will stop after my last dose.
