I have been taking it for 2.5 months now and I have recently began to experience pounding heart, shortness of breath, and I have totally loss my interest in sex. I am going to tell my doc this week because although I have lost 17 lbs, I dont know if the marriage issues are worth it. Maybe he will perscribe me something else.

Gives you extreme dry mouth which causes nasty breath.

I have taken phentermine now for 5 weeks and I have lost 25 pounds. I wasn't severely overweight but I needed to lose my baby weight. It makes me generally happy, my energy levels have risen and it makes excercise much more enjoyable. The only side effect that I really experience is cotton mouth. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that I don't ever want to eat. I have to force myself to eat and when I do, I get so sick I want to throw up. I have taken this drug before with great results lost 80 lbs. Only side effect I have noticed is dry mouth, I have to keep a bottle of water with me at all times.

I have been taking this for 3 months and I have lost 23 lbs. There are mild side effect of nervousness, but they went away after the first two weeks.

I have been using this drug for about 4 months and it has helped me lose about 50 pounds so far. There are a few side affects but nothing you cant deal with if you really want to lose the weight.

I've bin trying to lose weight for a while now, and wasn't able to with my crazy schedule. Between work and the kids schedule it was impossible.but I spoke to my doctor and he put me on this medication and on my first 4 weeks I lost 10 pounds, and that was with no exersise,so this month I am going to start the exersises and hope to lose more than 10 pounds.

I did LA Weightloss and Weight Watchers but I was still feeling exhausted all the time. Being 40+ I knew my metabolism had slowed down so I talked to my doctor and she prescribed this drug. It has been a God-send and I have lost 15 pounds in 8 weeks. I do not take it on the weekends so it doesn't lose it's effectiveness. Seems to help. I do not have insomnia since I take it right after brushing my teeth when I get out of bed.

I started taking phentermine 7 months ago. I've lost a total of 39 pounds and am more than happy with the results. When I first started I was very jittery and my mouth was extremely dry all the time. These effects wore off fairly quickly. I also had an extreme loss of appetite. That too went away after about a month. Now I eat only when I'm hungry. I would (and have)recommend this drug to other women struggling with weight loss.

It gave me the jitteries for the first couple days but after that I was fine, I do not eat alot anymore and don't want sweets or sodas. I have been on it for two months and lost 23lbs. I have the energy to work out now. I do get a cotton mouth when I take it so I drink alot of water and some juices.

It helped to control my appetite and effectively loose weight. My mouth gets very dry with this medication.
