I think its great that a small pink pill replaced nights of inputting creams and days of it leaking out. My experience was positive very satisfied with results and will use again if needed. No side effects - took pill out night before bed just in case. I get yeast infections offen because I think I have allergies from my husbands semin, for real. for some reason if I let him do his business inside...

This is terrible medication. I have been having stomach problems since I took this stupid medication for the first time (and last time. It wrecked my colon. I think it wiped off my digestive system from all good bacteria and I am still suffering greatly. Had I known or read the comments before taking it, I would have flushed this pill down the toilet!

I have been on this medicine for 36 hours and I have noticed a decress in discharge, in the color and odor. I never really had a lot of itching but did notice an increase after a few hours. The only problem I have had so far has been a headache. Hopefully in the next day or so my infection will have completly gone away.

I have had to go through treatment twice in 2 years for disseminated coccidioidomycosis (valley fever) and both times have taken 200mg 2 x day orally of fluconazole over periods of weeks to months. I have to rate the minimal side effects of some nausea adn drowsiness the first week or so as preferrable to the misery of the coccidioidomycosis!

I developed a fungus infection in my mouth and throat due to the steroid inhaler I was using for my athsma/bronchitis. Fluconazole cleared up the fungus, but the PAIN in my stomach was so unbearable after 2-3 days that I quit taking it. I have been extremely bloated (as in I look like I'm 6 months pregnant!) and did I mention the PAIN in my stomach? It's been 24 hours since I stopped taking Fluconazole, and no relief yet. I will deal with the fungus with time and Listerine. I will NOT take Fluconazole ever again.Read More Read Less

I was on this medicine for 3 months and the Valley Fever returned, my doctor says I'll most likely be on it for the next 12 months or more, and since my Pharmacy, Bashas has put it on their generic savings program, it only cost $3.99 per month, compared to before I was paying $90.00 a month.

Took 400mg x day, both pills at night since it made very very drowsy and gave me 'brain fog'. Frequent nose bleeds, dry skin, lost my eyelashes and alot of hair on my head. Had nausea like a block of sour milk in my stomach hours after taking it. After a few weeks I developed muscle cramps and horrific pain in hip joints at night. These went away after I discontinued the medication. That being said, it suppressed the Cocci in my body so my titers are now negative, and thus I believe it to be effective (in my case).Read More Read Less

Have used Fluconazole in the past with no problem. The last two times, I have developed swelling of lip/nose with "fever blisters". This time within 2 hours of taking the med, removing the shadow of doubt from last episode. I have three pharmacy info papers on the med and only one mentioned poss side effect of 'blisters'.

After a bout with Bronchial Pnuemonia, and asthma, the antibiotics created a raging yeast infection. My doctor prescribed Fluconazole....and within a day I was a lot better. By the 2nd day I was relieved. Back at work and symptoms gone in 3 days.
