I was given a 14 days RX for twice daily. It really helped my sinus infection, earache and sore throat, but after 5 days, the left side of my face broke out in a terrible rash. I thought it was my illness since everything hurt on the left side of my face only. However, I stopped taking it on the 8th day and my rash disappeared so I guess I am allergic to this medication.

I only took this 2 times because of the rapid heart beat it caused and red face from the sun I would guess. BP was good.

I am on this med. for 2 weeks 500MG twice a day. I do take stomach med. first thing in the am, due to colon problems, to counteract this med. It does taste really bad. I have developed a really bad bronchitis, while taking this so I am now on med. for the cough. I did not think that I would get bronchitis while on the med, thought it would also help the cough, guess not. I cannot stop running to the bathroom, I think that I have a yeast infection from all this strong med. I am finishing the dosage.It did help the Sinus infection! I was instructed by my physician to take two tablet a day twelve hours apart for ten days. The taste of this medication is vial even with something sweet. As for effectiveness of this drug I am not impressed it did not work as quickly as some of the other drugs that I have been on.

This medicine tastes AWFUL! Worst ever! A trick I figured out is if I chew some food, keep it in my cheeks, take the pill quickly with a drink and then swallow the food right after it; there's less of a lingering horrible taste. It also helps to eat more than a few bites so you don't burp it up half dissolved and then get a chemical burn in your throat. (This all sounds very gross, but for someone who really needs to be taking it, you might find it helpful.) I have been on it for just over a month now and am doing OK. Both my wife and I have taken this pill in both the 250 and 500 mg. Each time we take it get stuck in our throat. It's so bad we both have returned the pills and asked for a different manufacturer. IMHO this should be taken off the market

Very bad stomach cramps and nausea. Feeling dizzy and have a headache. I dont think I would use this again. Three days on this and Im giving up

Stomach cramping,headache,shaky very tired. Will ask for another antibiotic

This medicine is wonderful. It did not upset my stomach like antibiotics and it went to work almost immediately. I like the fact that the pills are small and easy to swallow. Very effective and I loved the results!

It seem to help , but also go a yeast infection from useing it!

I am on day 7 of the 10 day script. I haven't noticed a difference yet. I am still, congested, constantly blowing my nose & coughing,wheezing,using my inhaler just as much. I was lucky not to have the stomach cramps or loose stools- in fact I was more constipated than anything else. I am suffering more headaches than when I stopped taking my migraine meds. I've been taking this medicine for 4 days and have just starting seeing a slight benefit from it. Agree with others regarding the loose stools, and stomach cramping/pains. And DEFINITELY a BITTER taste in the mouth! About ready to call my doctor and ask for another antibiotic.

I have 3 1/2 more days on this medication and I can't wait for it to be over. Running to the bathroom is difficult when holding down a full time job, yesterday stomach cramping, and today my chest hurts, and they leave a terrible taste in your mouth. I can't wait to be done with these. I will never take these again. I even had to leave work today because I felt so terrible, and it wasn't from being sick, it was from the pills! Ask for something else!!!

After I took 20 tablets I still keep getting nasal congestion and a sore throat.

i have taken this med.for last 5yr.when needed.you can get it incoated forum if you ask your doc. and drink with oj to take away from the bitter taste.always take with food,i.e toast.it works fast!
