This product is effective. Take only one at a time (i took two once and was crying in pain). You should also plan to take it only when you can afford to have some quality bathroom time. You may need a few trips to the bathroom as it works through your system. Don't take it the day that you have something really imortant to do. I took it at 9 p.m. and it worked its way through at about 10 a.m. ...
I had received free samples of Dulcolax laxative tablets and took one two nights ago around 10PM. I woke up in the morning with moderate cramping, and while on my commute was feeling uncomfortable. I had jury duty that morning and as soon as the case began, I started feeling incredibly nauseous and hot, as well as crampy, and hobbled embarrassingly to the bathroom. There I stayed for 30 minutes hu...

Terrible expiriance with it. Painful as hell craps, the runs and up all night in cold sweats, pain (like razors cutting up my insides), feeling sick and on the toilet the whole night. I wouldn't reccoment it, I've curtianly had better pain free relief from cemist drugs!

Well, it made me have a bowel movement and then for the next 4 hours I felt like my intestines were being ripped open by Aliens. I am dehydrated and any thing I drink or eat shoots out of me like a fire hose with very painful cramping. Do yourself a favor and do not use this product.

I took two pills at 1AM and I have been up since 6AM with horrendous cramps, vomiting bile, sweating, and dizziness. I've broken bones and had a spinal tap, but that pain pales in comparison to what I have been feeling over the past two hours; this is by far the worst pain I have experienced in my life. I would not recommend this drug.

I've always had issues having a bowel movement rabbit turds as I call them when I have them .. I only have bm' s once every 2 weeks it seems so I was ready to finally get full relief. I took 3 went to sleep woke up and a couple hours I felt cramps that told me yeaa I have to use the restroom.. Finally relief and until I felt total relief.. First solid then alot of loose stool and water came out . So I agree with the other comment yes drink water and plenty of it because it helps. Cramps went away ub worked my normal shift without any discomfort.. I continue with 2 a week now and spoke to my doctor about it...water is the key to cramp discomfort and ducolax was a god send..ty Read More Read Less

Overnight relief? More like up all night with little relief. Could not fall asleep after taking 2. After 2 hours started to feel nauseous with intense stomach pain. Experienced dry heaving and cramps!!! Not worth it!!! I'd rather be constipated!

I had not had a BM for days even after taking a stool softener. Took 3 pills around 6:30 in the evening. I had slight cramping around 11 pm, Slept the entire night. The next morning at 5 I got up for work about 45 minutes later I felt more cramping and had my first BM. Entire process of going took until 2 pm. You will get up to go frequently. When I felt the cramping that was my que to go the bathroom and push. I suggest taking this after you have had at least 8 large glasses of water throughout the day. If the cramping starts to intensify, drink more water, the more water the better you will feel.Read More Read Less

I decided to take dulcolax after not being able to go for three days. I took two tablets last night around 9. The effects are not terrible. I was woken up around midnight to go to the bathroom. It was mostly solid and normal. I went back to bed only to wake up again at 5:30. My stomach felt fairly uneasy. After about an hour of cramping, I was able to go. The cramping went away shortly after, but quickly came back and I've had to visit the bathroom multiple times since then. Hopefully I don't continue to have diarrhea at work.Read More Read Less

I love this product! It completely empties me out! Yes, it does cause abdominal pain and discomfort, but that should be expected when taking a laxative. Nausea and vomiting will occur if you overdose on the medication and it'll leave you a little defeated for the rest if the day but it goes away when the drug is out of your system. This product works much faster when you have a full stomach and when your bowels are full! For me, it may take like 5 hours, verses 12 hours when my stomach is basically empty. But overall, dulcolax does what it is supposed to and does it well!Read More Read Less

Took one tablet. Did produce bowel movement but cramps and chills on and off into next day. Considering results, not worth the discomfort.

I took two tablets of Ducolax and within less over 12 hours I began to start cramping. I proceeded to the bathroom to eventually produce bowel movements. It wasn't so gentle but it did do the job I was needing for it to do. My side effects were nausea, sweating, and cramps. I wouldn't take this medicine again because I don't like the way it makes me feel but I do know that it does the job of producing bowel moments.

I have used this product numerous times with the expected results. However, within the past four months I took two tablets arond 12:00 and woke with severe cramping, nauseus, sweating, shaking, and the feeling of increased heart rate. I have never had these symptoms with a medication and was very concerned. I wondered later if I had just caught a virus. So I took the medication again within two months and did not have a problem. However, the last time I took it I had the same reaction as experienced earlier. Therefore, I do feel it was the medication and I will not take it again and recommend no one else does.Read More Read Less

There was nothing gentle about this. I felt like I drank drano. Nightmarish stomach cramps accompanied by hours of passing liquid, long after all fecal matter had been passed. I will never use this medication again.

Took 2 pills at 9:00 pm got up at 2:15 am to pee and got sick on my stomach and broke out in a cold sweat, try to get a cold wash cloth to put on my face and ended up passing out on the bathroom floor, I guess just a few seconds, woke up and didn't know where I was and realized so I got on my hands and knees and crawled out into the hall and laid on the floor and call my husband to help me. I was really shaky and breathing hard. Finally went to the bathroom 3 times and started feeling better and alittle weak. Threw the rest of the pack away, never again.Read More Read Less

i took this before bed expecting relief the next morning. nothing happened until mid afternoon the next day, well after i assumed it wasn't going to work. once it did work i had moderate cramping and couldn't stop going. later i tried it again using a larger dose thinking that would make it more predictable. the box says 6 hours; the larger dose brought severe cramps and started working very strongly in only 3 hours. i was shopping and didn't expect it to work so fast. i just barely made it to a restroom and spent the next half hour with cramps, sweating and diarrhea. this is not gentle and i don't like not knowing when it will decide to start working. i won't use this anymore.Read More Read Less

I took one Dulcolax to see how quickly it will work for me since I am to take 4 for colonoscopy prep. Took at 10PM woke at 4AM to awful pain. Yes it cleaned me out - and I have no idea why you need to take 4 when 1 works. Felt nauseous - thought I would vomit while on the toilet and then had cold chills and a sweat. Not sure whether I will go thru with the colonoscopy but if I do I won't be taking 4 of these - I think I would die if I did!
