This medication is horrible for its purpose, but I must say the other brands must be placebo, seriously. This barely touches my pain so this brand will have to work. Its better than nothing I guess. I found an old bottle of mine from 2 years ago and it had 1 single 10/325 in it and Im prescribed 2 every 6 hrs. At my time to take my dose i took the single by itself and got way better relief than 2 of these now. Not only did the single provide me with a full 8 hour relief before my pain was throbbing i realized after 4 hrs of 2 i was feeling the pain getting worse in half the time with twice the doseage. I used to take 3 per day and my pain was well managed but after the "shortage" started, my normal brand has been obsolete for over 2 years. And its not just me its 100% of people on oxycodone and hydrocodone, short term patients and long term patients are all saying the same thing. Horrible company Mallinkrdt. FDA isn’t regulating. They’re not making it correctly. And now I get migraines from it. It’s junk meds. I think they put just enough to pass a test. No end in sight. I have been in 4 major vehicle accidents (one was semi totaling my car). I was in major one totaling my sons car on Mother’s Day two weeks ago and just took Tylenol 4. Got a migraine 45 mins after taking it. Would rather my severe back pain than a migraine. Did nothing for my back. Took 2. Haven’t been on anything but suboxone for years so I know stronger meds. Was prescribed Amneal Hydrocodone for post surgery pain. Did not work at all. Stop mixing these meds with garbage !! I was legitimately prescribed this. I was miserable and in agony not getting post op relief !!

AMNEAL IS THE WORSE I CANT FEEL RELEIF 10-325 DO NOT HELP SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT

I have been taking this medication for pain after hip, pelvis, and wrist fractures occurred several months back. It works great as long you keep to your schedule and do not miss doses, but I think it's safe to say that goes for pain meds in general. I also like that it addresses the pain without making me feel loopy like oxycodone does.

I was prescribed Amneal Hydrocodone 5- 325, after oral surgery. Did nothing for severe pain. Only bad headache dissyness. This needs to stop, people need pain meds that work !!

Idk about other pain patients but since ive been on this hydrocodone pharmacy brand ive had 24/7 severe migraines plus major weight gain. Ive been on hydrocodone off & on for almost 15yrs & its always worked on me so there's something seriously wrong with this pharmaceutical brand.

On pain meds for over 10 years. Amneal pharmaceuticals hydrocodone 5 mg has not been effective. I feel like I am drunk and get minimal pain relief. I start sweating in about 4 hours. Shame on these manufacturers

Hit and miss for fractured shoulder. One dose it works one another dose It doesn'. I don't understand.

Mallinckrodt oxycodone, hydrocodone and codeine tablets do not work at all. None of it breaks the blood/brain barrier, but is the only brand available in my area. I complained to the FDA, knowing that these drug companies test their own drugs and almost always find that the medication is 'effective', but never received any answer. I finally told my doctor that there was no sense in refilling my prescriptions. After taking 45 oxycodone/acetomenaphin tablets per month for 3 months, I should have had withdrawal symptoms of some kind, but nothing happened. These pills do not work, period.Read More Read Less

Itching and hives the last 6 months of doing this medicine been on it for 13 years, something's not right with it.

I have M/S and I have a vascular necrosis in both of my hips I only have pain with the right hip. I had a decompressive surgery in 2001 that did not help I have been living with the pain every since. The orthopedic doctor says I needed a complete hip replacement but my neurologist said that I could have a major M/S relapse if I had the surgery so I have not. I just try to get by as best I can. I have been on hydrocodone 10/325 for several years and I have noticed a big change in the hydrocodone that is available and in my experience the Amneal brand has been the most effective but the last prescription was not as effective as the one before. Something isn't right bit it is still the best that I have been able to get. My worst brand has been Tris pharmaceuticals it is like taking sugar pills. I can not feel any pain relief whatsoever as far as Mallinckrodt goes I haven't taken that brand enough to see if it is effective. I have some of that brand because. Y pharmacy only had part of my prescription of Amneal and they had to finish it with Mallinckrodt because the Amneal has been limited availability. But I know something is wrong with these medications not being as effective as they were before. Someone needs to do something to get answers for why. The pharmaceutical companies are playing with people's lives and abilities to function and as ambulant as we can. Everyone are not just a druggie trying to get high. Most of us people with chronic pain are just trying to live. I also think it's pretty stupid for these attorneys and legislators filling suits against the pharmaceutical companies and causing the truly sick and real patients with chronic pain to suffer. Hydrocodone 10mg has been unavailable in Southern California so have been using 5mg Hydrocodone. The 5mg have not even as effective and seem to wear off in about 4 hours instead of 6hrs. I feel more sleepy, almost drunk when taking these pills.

Hydrcodone/Acetominophen by Mallinkrodt does not work to reduce pain from Lupus and Rhumetoid Arthritus. I dont know what formula they used but it is ineffective on chronic deep pain and it hurts my stomache. Please bring back Norco and Lortab manufacturers. Why let people continue to be in pain.

I have been taking the 10mg Hydrocodone/325 Acetaminophen for almost 10 years now and I feel the medication is gradually becoming less effective. I take it as prescribed for SI joint dysfunction, bulging disc pain and degenerative joint disease and it has always worked until just this past year. Seems the pharmaceutical companies are not putting as much effective ingredients in them anymore. I have to double my dose just to get relief these days. I feel like the pharmaceutical industry is no longer concerned about the well being of individuals (not that they ever really did in my opinion) and are more concerned on the monetary aspect. I think this medicine might help with minor pains but for daily use its not that helpful. I would not recommend taking it. The risk(addiction)is not worth the reward(reduction of pain)

I am beside myself with pain in my knees and I have the utter misfortune of receiving oxycodone from this horrible mf, Mallinckrodt. 10 mg of this crap and having to take upwards of 4 pills at a time just to feel something, which is useless. The FDA should look into this company, people are suffering. They should not be allowed to manufacture pain medication because their products do not work. I am literally on the verge of not wanting to live, that's how bad the pain is for me.

With my chronic painful conditions my dr has to switch tramadol to hydrocodone only in winter months which has worked. So im not addicted. This Pharmaceutical brand Mallinckrodt is now being sued for not selling the right products. Now i understand others reviews cuz it's not easing my pain at all keeping me off work in the house. Why is that allowed when they obviously are bankrupt & robbing patients of their correct treatments?

This drug is miraculous & works wonders for me. I'm a 73 year old female & haven't had any side effects. I'm really puzzled by all the complaints.

Was given 10/325mg Norco generic Mallinckrodt. I usually buy brand name Vicodin in the past. I was surprised how well its working. I have no pain in my rotator cuffs. It also relieves my tension headaches.
