Senna drugs can cause blood in the stool. After 1 dose this is what happened. It is very strong, and should be used with increased awareness and caution. There are better drugs that can treat everything senna drugs can, and I strongly encourage anyone who is being prescribed a senna drug to ask about alternatives!

This product has been very effective during my husband' s use of chemotherapy drugs, which make him very constipated. It is relatively inexpensive and easy to use.
