It’s almost been a week and a half and so far this is the strongest medication I’ve been on.. and I’ve been on them all for the past 23 years. The only problem is, I wake up once every morning around 3-4 but I do fall back asleep.

This over priced drug has not benefited me anymore than Ambien did. I wake up multiple times in the middle of the night. Some days I’m sleeping maybe only 3 hours a night. Don’t waste your money.

I’ve been taking 25mg for a few weeks, works a lot better than Dayvigo, and I can wake up easier in the morning which is nice. I feel my overall quality of sleep has improved, I haven’t been getting any weird dreams and tend to be able to sleep well through the night. But on the 25mg I’ve still had a lot of difficulty actually falling asleep. Just got bumped up to 50mg, so far was easier to fall asleep with, but was a little drowsy during the day. This med for me is definitely one of those meds you take every night, and not intermittently, otherwise I feel like the side effects are increased and efficacy is limited. Read More Read Less

This medication has worked great for me. I’ve had issues sleeping the entire night for a long time. I was very apprehensive about taking some of the other widely prescribed medications due to side effects. So far, Quviviq has worked great. I am able to sleep easily and when I do wake, I fall asleep again easily. When I start the morning, I am well rested and feel fully energized. There is no hangover with Quviviq that I have experienced.

Used this for 2 nights and willing to try one more night but if it doesn't improve I will stop using it. The sleep was intermittent and not restful at all.

I have had trouble with sleeping for a long time. I also have been on Ambien which somewhat work, which at this point I regret changing. My specialist suggested that I give this medication a try. Big mistake. The horrible dreams are unexplainable. The lack of falling asleep and staying asleep is extremely disappointing. It takes on average 1 hour to fall asleep whit an empty, then the scary dreams begin, which wakes me up! I’m back to square one, no quality! I would not recommend this candy cert/ tick tock to no one! Very Dissatisfied. Read More Read Less

Quiviviq gave me weird/scary dreams. I did sleep, but it was interrupted by the weird vivid dreams. I had to discontinue using it for that reason.

Quiviviq gives me good sleep, but unfortunately also vivid and bizarre nightmares. Another reviewer above described “hell scape” nightmares. I would concur.

After years on ambien (took it every other night with no side effects) it wasn't effective anymore. So I requested Q from my PC. I took it for 2 months, which seemed fair to judge. Q was horrible. Some nights no sleep until like 6am (I get up at 7am), but most typical nights it took 2 hours before i feel asleep, then I would wake up every 45 minutes almost on cycle. Tons of crazy dreams. Then at 7am, I would be woozy and it was difficult to get out of bed (usually I am ready to get up). So the quality of sleep was poor...I felt exhausted...this drug is a joke...and I think I read in the clinical trials, it only increased sleep 20 minutes a night. Seems rather pointless for the misery it causes. So, I went back to ambien a week ago and slept great instantly. It was amazing to feel rested. I give quviviq a "F".Read More Read Less

At first I wasn’t happy with my results from switching off of Ambien, but I knew with the terrible side effects ambien causes and scary long term side effects I had to switch. I then was told I was experiencing rebound insomnia from stopping Ambien. After a few days (pretty much a week) Quviviq started to work and now I feel great, falling asleep faster and waking up not groggy. I’m happy I ended up just muscling out that first week.

It hasn't worked at all. I am awake all night and then I sleep from 6am to 8am I am not sure why the Dr. switch me to this drug, Ambien worked much better These pills are an odd small shape and difficult to hold on to. This one is especially bad for that. For me, they work about as well as a smartie candy. I am questioning the switch.

I started this because Ambien was no longer working for me. I have suffered from insomnia for years. This has not helped mr sleep once since starting. I find i still need to take my Ambien just to get some sleep. I was told it takes 5 days for this medication to work. I don't want to wait 5 days to sleep. Would you? So far I am very dissatisfied. This medication does not do what it claims; help you fall asleep.

I took one tablet for one night. It turned my mind against me. The nightmarish hell scape that I endured will take yeas of therapy to recover from.

I have been taking Ambien for 20 years, I switched to this 5 days ago. The first 2 nights were horrible!!!! I was told to give it a chance and I did!!! Thank God I did.... the 3rd night it worked like a charm and you don't wake up in the morning groggy like the Ambien.

This medicine has truly changed the way I sleep. After some odd dreams the first fiew nights, no longer am I wide awake at various points through the night. This keeps me sleeping, though the 25mg dose was not quite enough for me - 190lb adult male.

Do yourself a favor and skip this one! I was excited to try a new medication with less side effects but it was awful! It flat out doesn't work. It doesn't help you fall asleep and it certainly doesn't help you stay asleep. I'll be going back to Sonata. I'm serious when I say I'd rather take my benadryl and wake up 10 times to go pee than ever take quviviq ever again. Millions of dollars in research and development of a drug that is garbage.
