Amazing to be able to see up close without readers! Took a good 20 mins to kick in and start working a little burn when put in eye that goes away quickly. May be a little pricey for small bottle but worth it for sure!

THE DROPS WORKED!!!! :D...... But only for a few hours... And I had to use them every day... And they caused me discomfort.... THEN I FOUND OUT THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO BECOME FREE FROM READING GLASSES!!!......My doctors educated me on LASIK and "Lens Replacement".... I HAD LASIK... AND ONLY HAD TO HAVE IT ON 1 EYE!!!.... AND I AM TOTALLY FREE FROM READERS. MY ADVICE: Try the drops.... But underst...

I'm 58, wear contacts @ -5.50 with astigmatism. I have readers everywhere and am about a +2.00 presbyopia. Pros for Vuity: My vision is amazing. Lasts for about 6 hours, then starts to fade. Cons: Significant redness after application, minimal headache that dissipates. Price paid: $79 @ Walgreens. Overall, I am super pleased with the outcome; however, my intent is only to use this occasionally. The reasons are price and my eye doctor's concern about the retinal detachment issues. She was more comfortable that I was only using it occasionally. She said if I used it regularly, she wanted to see me every few months to check my retinas. So if you do use this regularly, I would hope your doc would also be that cautious. I think it's pretty amazing. I mean, I'm sitting here at my desk, typing, looking down at my notes, with no glasses whatsoever. Pretty great. Read More Read Less

I'm 50, I've been using reading glasses for the last 5 or so years. My magnification can range from 1.5-1.75 on drug store readers. I got Vuity Friday and started using it Saturday. I can attest the burning for 1 min or less. I have had a great experience. I was able to see on my phone with no glasses, do things around the house that I normally needed the readers for without them. They do only last for ~6ish hours and I'm hoping they approve twice a day use. Not having to use readers is a game changer for me. Worth the $79 I paid. I will continue to purchase the drops. Don’t waste your money . The drops did nothing. I could not read without my readers. It gave me a headache then nothing .My wife tried them too , another miss, they did nothing. My eye doctor tried to talk me out of Asking him to give me a prescription , I should have listened. What a rip off at almost $90 bucks. Don’t buy it or you will be sorry

I really wanted this to work- even though I have a fabulous collection of reading glasses! I gave it a couple of tries with different exertional scenarios. Backstory- I am a type 1 diabetic x 35yrs, had LASIK 12 years ago, and have no retinopathy as per annual ophthalmology exams. The first time I tried Vuity was the day before Easter- physically active setting up tables and chairs, and running in and out of the house from low light to sunlight. It only took 10 mins from the time of administration to start to see changes in my vision. The first change was that my field of vision grew dim- not such that I couldn't see, but noticeably dimmer. I only noticed a slight amber tinge. At 20 minutes, I was able to see my Apple watch clearly, and was able to read text messages on my phone without readers. Now I'm getting excited that I can see so well, and my distance vision was not affected. At 1 hour post dose, I noticed a headache- mostly on the top of my head, but I didn't feel like I needed to treat it. At 2 hours post dose, I noticed that I needed my readers to send a text, and the dimness had lessened somewhat. From that point on, I had to use my readers for close up tasks and reading. The one symptom that persisted the entire day was the pinpoint pupils. The second try was the same as the first in terms of the length of time where I noticed the benefit of the drops. Though this time I was just doing detail drawing in mostly high light (sunlight) indoors, and I did not experience a headache. Overall, not worth the money. The side effects were manageable, though waiting through the pronounced dimness at first can be uncomfortable. And, it never improved my vision to the level of what I get with readers (though I really doubted it would). Read More Read Less

I had a major headache after 15 that lasted an hour. I still could not read fine print and had to put my glasses on. The effects lasted about 3 hours. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!!!!

I had high expectations when I read about these drops and probably was one of the first people to get them to try. I had Lasik 15 years ago and had a "tune-up" this past year because I thought I wanted to see best far distance. Went to have my warranty procedure and they did advise I may loose some near vision because at the time I was mono vision, so I had good near vision in right eye. Next day after procedure I couldn't see a thing. I had my doctor call in prescription for Vuity and so it began. I used for 3 weeks with zero success, my eyes burned, watery, red, head ache, blurred vision, dark room. I called the MFG and did talk to someone in customer satisfaction and even had a follow up call because they were interested in feedback since it was a new product for this use. I told them I wanted a refund for the $85 because it was complete failure....nothing after that. May work for some, but honestly if you work on a computer why pay the $$$ for maybe 4 hrs of some good near vision. I do not recommend this productRead More Read Less

Did absolutely NOTHING. Well other than the burning red eyes for a few minutes. I'm reading the reviews and I am starting to seriously think this is some sort of scam. How did the FDA approve a product that does not work in 90% of the people who try it? A placebo would have better effectiveness. Who wants a class action? Clearly the FDA has been bought off.

Tried once. Did not work for me at all. The experience actually was alarming...burning sensation, blurry, headache, and an orange tint to everything resulting in having to to take the day off. Vision did not improve even slightly. It took about 3 weeks for flashes to subside. Also had an increased number of floaters which have also started to decrease in prominence. Like most in this forum...going back to my reliable readers. I wanted it to work but not a good match for me.

I used one drop in each eye. Only corrected my vision by one line on the chart. And the next day I suffered a vitriol hemmorage be and a torn retina. My vision was fine before. Just needed cheater readers at 125. Now I have flashes and floaters. I so much regret trying Vuity!!!

After 2 weeks still need readers (+2.75). maybe a slight improvement but certainly not worth the price . First week caused vision to have a slight brown tint on the edges, weird. Just not very effective, will stop usage.

Within minutes distance vision was severely affected. The sensation was like being in a fun house with goggles on, drunk. Used saline to rinse out eyes hoping to lessen affect, so I'm not sure if it would've continued throughout the day. I am thankful for the sample bottle from Dr. and not to have spent the money for Rx. I will not be filling Rx.

Really BAD Experience. I tried these drops twice. I was so excited at the prospect of losing the readers... However, the first time I used the drops, I had a sudden onset headache. Had to lay down to allow it to subside. It wasn't a normal type of headache. It was like a pounding in my eyeballs. My eyes became very red. I did not notice much of a difference in better vision. The next time I tried it, it was even worse! My head and back of eye balls were throbbing so badly within minute of using the drops, I became extremely nauseous, and felt such an odd sensation in my head. My eyes became extremely red, and began seeing zig-zags and got so nervous and worried that I they had done some permanent damage to my eyes. It took a few hours for it to wear off, and I threw the bottle away! In researching this product, I found out it was initially used to treat Glaucoma patients (explains the pressure/pounding in the eyes after use). How in the world did the FDA allow this product to be approved in place of reading glasses is beyond me. I am a healthy 58 year old with who takes no medications, and no health issues. In looking at the other reviews, I just don't get how it got approved. The dangers of this product far outweigh the benefits!Read More Read Less
