I need +2.0 reading glasses for near vision due to age related presbyopia. I gave these drops a try and I had moderate results. Application was no harder than any other eye drops. I did not feel the sting others report, but you do know they were put in. After 15-20 minutes, my near vision improved enough to be able to read my phone text, though not with perfect clarity. Same goes for laptop/comp...

THE DROPS WORKED!!!! :D...... But only for a few hours... And I had to use them every day... And they caused me discomfort.... THEN I FOUND OUT THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO BECOME FREE FROM READING GLASSES!!!......My doctors educated me on LASIK and "Lens Replacement".... I HAD LASIK... AND ONLY HAD TO HAVE IT ON 1 EYE!!!.... AND I AM TOTALLY FREE FROM READERS. MY ADVICE: Try the drops.... But underst...

after placing one drop in each eye, my vision became blurry and I omitted twice. I don't think they did enough clinical trials before putting this on the market. I filed an issue report with the FDA, something that I never have done before....that's how bad the experience was

These are definitely not worth the headache (literally). My doctor gave me a sample bottle of these drops to try since I expressed interest and was an ideal candidate for them. I went home with the bottle and eagerly followed the directions. MAN do they sting!! The stinging did subside but then the real fun started, as the ocular muscles contracted a very bad headache set in. Yes, I could see better, but honestly, not as clear as I would have liked...and, the drops only lasted for a few hours (maybe 4...same with the headache, it subsided as the drops lost their effectiveness.) I figured, this could be a first day thing and gave them a shot the next day. The stinging was still there, but it wasn't as bad...but the headache was definitely as bad and the drops didn't seem to stay with me as long (but the headache did.) I figured, to be fair, some medications take bit to work...so, I tried it for a third day. An even worse headache and the drops lasted for even less time, with a headache that lingered long after my vision was back to normal. These drops definitely are not worth it for me. I ended up with horrible headaches that made it hard to work, and they didn't last nearly as long as advertised. If I can't use them and make it through a day at work they aren't going to do me any good...and I'm certainly not willing to endure the headaches each time I use them. Not only do they make it hard to work, if I used these drops and went out for a night with my husband...I'd have a horrible time because of the headache.Read More Read Less

I would give it zero stars if possible. It burned and made my vision blurry and had to still use my readers. As a physician I am very disappointed that they would approve this drug when it has not worked for a majority of people.

(i normally wear readers that are +1.25) and Vuity DOES work! But unfortunately, it only lasted 2-3 hours. I used it for a week straight, and never got more than a few hours glasses-free.

So my doctor said everyone he has given the sample to has had headaches with these. I have used them 4 times now just for a fun night out to be able to see my phone text and read a menu. Nit one headache with them. Not sure if people who got the headaches were doing it daily? That is not why I wanted them. I don't mind my glasses daily, just when going out with my husband or friends, uts nice to not have to take my glasses off for pictures

I already reported on a vuity caused retinal detachment. Asking now how Web MD can use a format that results in a favorable rating on a product that caused this.?? A star rating equally weighted for ease of use?? My rating for vuity is rock bottom--in no way does the ease of using an eye drop balance it's ability to destroy your vision.

I tried these drops, because when viewing my computer screen my vision gets be blurry after 2 or 3 hours. I will then need to use readers, which for me is very inconvenient because I need to take them off when not looking at the screen. Here's what I did that worked very well for me. I shower the night before. Then each morning, I put one drop in each eye and I lay on my back for about 5 minutes. After this, for the WHOLE DAY (which is about 10 hours for me), my vision is perfect! No headaches, blurry vision, or anything! I mentioned that I shower the night before because I'm not sure if washing after putting the drops will diminish its effectiveness. Read More Read Less

Occasionally I wore readers but after using Vuity I have to wear my readers constantly I should have left well enough alone. My experience was also a burning sensation after each use, could not go outside while the sun was shining without shades on, and I have to keep the light on in the office on bright sunny afternoons. I stopped using the drops after one week because my sight has progressed worse, and I still have issues after months of not using Vuity.

I gave these a try for about a week. Right after putting a drop in each eye, my eyesight got a little worse for about an hour. Then my ability to see up-close got better, but not good enough that I didn’t still need my reading glasses.

DO NOT USE!! I have now after a very short time using the drops ended up with FLOATERS that effect my vision. So now I have shadows all through my eyesight. Horrible and very very upsetting. I may have in the near future have other issues of retinal tear or detachment. I never thought in a million years that something fda approved would be on the market like this. PLEASE DO BE NIEVE LIKE ME. Please read read read all the fine print and ask your eye doctor to look into the risks before just doing it. I was so excited to try it and asked to please have it and my eye doctor did not hear of anything bad. But now there is lots of data. Oh by the way no one pays for the surgery and appointments but YOU! PLEASE IT IS A MIRACLE DRUG THAT WILL RUIN YOUR EYESIGHT FOREVER. PLEASE DON'T DO IT. AT LEAST WAIT ! WAITING FOR A WHILE IS BETTER THAN HAVING BLURRY VISION THAT CAN NOT BE FIXED OR ALOT WORSE. Show this post to your eye doctor and see what they recommend. PLEASERead More Read Less

Not a fan. I'm a 60 yr old man with decent vision but small text is the bane of my life. Reading medicine instructions always requires a magnifying glass but most other text sizes don't cause a problem. My distance vision is also failing such that I wear prescription glasses at night or to go to the movies. I thought that Vuity might be a good alternative to bifocals so I coughed up $75 for 1 month's supply. They are very easy to use, just a drop in each eye with some transient burning. For me, that was followed by a headache similar in feeling to an eye strain headache. I also noticed a marked distortion in my vision that made reading a computer screen difficult. My detail vision was worse than without the drops and the headache lasted for the better part of 4 hours. I can't recommend them, especially at the high price pointRead More Read Less

The drops burn and I saw very little, if any improvement. My insurance did not cover the drops, so to me, the cost did not justify continuing to use them since I really did not have any noticeable improvement in my eyesight.

I got a sample of the drops at my annual eye appointment on a Thursday. I used the drops on Saturday morning. They burn a little at first, no big deal. I got a slight headache which went away fairly quickly. I was mostly inside that day, and it seemed dark. It did slightly help my reading for 3 - 4 hours. The optometrist asked if I had any floaters or flashes and I said no. They day after using the drops, I now have floaters and flashes in my left eye. I hope that goes away! I won't be using the drops again. I'm good with reading glasses.Read More Read Less

Concerned about long term effects of this product. I'm aged 44 and have had 20/20 vision my entire life, but have gotten to the age where I need +1.0 readers for close up viewing in low light. I could still usually read in bright light. I was a good candidate for Vuity. I took them about 10-times over a 3-4 week period. The drops did work for reading, but only for about 4 hours. I did not experience any headaches or floaters, like some other reviewers. However, I did experience "darker" vision when using Vuity, and needed more light to see things correctly. More concerning, my vision has gotten worse after using Vuity. Now I need the cheaters for all reading, including computer screens which I had no problem before. Read More Read Less

My eye care specialist was very honest about how effective these drops were and she was spot on. The drops burn a little when you first put them in. My vision did clear up some but I still needed my reading glasses after 3 hours. Luckily, a sample was provided because I would have wasted 90 dollars on nothing. Please explore other options, but do not waste your money. These reviews I was seeing about 8 hours working are entirely false. Vuity also had a young lady singing its praises. She was paid to do the ad, so do not be fooled. Simply put, Vuity is straight-up snake oil.Read More Read Less
