36 yr old male. T level below 300. I am only 36 but felt 66. I had no energy, depressed, no sex drive and horrible sweating episodes. Once we found out what was going on I was put on Androgel. I noticed it the 1st day. I was, and am still amazed with it. I feel like a new person. I have so much energy, great mood all of the time and my sex drive is back! This is an awesome product.

This is a very dangerous drug.Currently being advertised on TV and other places as the answer to every mans problem. No side effects are mentioned and it has many! Was given to me WITHOUT blood tests. Appears men are the next hormonal science experiment as women were years ago. How many cancers and other health related issues must happen before the severity of the drug revealed. No side effects wh...

I am 65 and due to a very low level of energy, I had my T level checked and it was very low, 126. At the end of December, 2010, I started four pumps daily, 5 g. I had a very significant increase in energy within 10 days and the energy continued to increase until about the beginning of February, 2011. I see my MD next week and think the dosage needs to be increased. I am now very doubtful about the effectiveness of this medication and my level of satisfaction has definitely decreased. It is certainly easy to use and I am wondering if any older guys, like me, have had an increase in energy for about a month or so and then had a sharp drop in energy after that time. Age 61. Had my prostate removed at age 53 due to cancer. My sexual desire and drive was zero, feel tired all of the time. My Urologist was relucatant to prescribe earlier due to history of cancer, but after 7 and 1/2 years, he felt it was OK to prescribe now. My Androgel comes in little 5g packets, you rub it all over the area your T-shirt will cover. It looks and smells and feels exactly like those hand sanitizing gels. After 1 months, I see zero difference in the way I feel, perhaps it is too soon to make a judgement. I have dr. visit in 1 week, so will see what doc has to say. Hopefully this med will help with further use.Read More Read Less

I have been on androgel for one year now and have seen a significant improvement in attitude, energy and libido. I don't know how long I have to stay on it but don't want to quit using it yet. also, I have a lot of body hair and have had significant body hair growth since taking Androgel. I am not pleased with the extra body hair growth. Wondering if that has happened to anyone else?

Been using androgel for about 18 months now. Started in May 2009 with four pumps a day and felt great and my erections were firm and sex was great. But over time my T levels started dropping, so In Dec. 2009 I was moved up to 5 pumps. In August 2010, almost like a light switch went off my sex drive nosedived and lost interest in sex, masturbation and the whole nine yards. In Oct. I had my physical and found that my T level had dropped to 284 which is low. I'm 52, workout four days a week in great shape. My urologist moved me to 8 pumps a day since Oct. 23 and to date still don't feel any different and there is no sex drive. Still no erections or the ability to maintain one. Any thoughts on this. It has been 18 days since i went to 8 pumps. Read More Read Less

Low T level 220. I have been on Androgel for 5 weeks without any improvement to drive/erections/mood. Going for blood work in a week. If T levels have not improved I will stop wasting my time and money

I'm 48 yrs old and work out 6 days a week. (HARD) that said I could not for the life of me lose the extra 20 pounds I had put on no matter what I did. For a regular physical my Dr. checked my T levels and they were only in the high 200's. I asked about HRT and he ordered up Androgel (4 pumps)I've not been on this for almost 5 months and doing super. Feeling wonderful, lost 22# and at 14% body fat. I've had my levels check once since starting and will again in about a month. So far..so good. I highly rec. men at least get thier numbers check and if necessary...TAKE ACTION!Read More Read Less

49 yr old, started treatment for low T, with 3 test averaging 245. Doctor said that was adequate, but I showed GP literature which said I should be in the 500 - 600 range for my age. GP prescribed Androgel, 5 grams per day (4 pumps). It has been a godsend, and has given me a new lease on life. Managed to get some in my eyes, and it cause eye irritation. I found washing my hands, very thoroughly after application avoided the eye problem. Men, once you get to your 40's, make your doctor check your T level, as I suffered for many years, and can't believe the difference this medication has made in my life. I wish I had known about this sooner.Read More Read Less

Right before the mumphs vaccine was available at age 22, I caught the mumphs which gave me primary testicular failure that seemed to have geater effects over the years although, I had two children. Eventually I was diagnosed with severe gynocomastia (feminization of the male breasts). I developed lumps that led to biopses and mammagrams. I was so sensitive I could not wear the chest strap of car safety belts. Surgery was considered, but the surgeon and an endocrinologist concurred that treatment with Androgel was worth a shot. It literally worked what appears to be a miracle. The breasts flattened out, lumps disappeared, and soreness and sensitivity went away. I've since become more muscular, have a deeper voice, and my sex drive has returned. I also have less depression and am able to run up to 5 miles. I am monitored for the testosterone levels and my prostate and lipid levels checked. No problems at all in more than 6 years of therapy.Read More Read Less

25 year old male. I have an a-typical aggressive growth brain tumor (meningioma) that among other things has suppressed my thyroid, pituitary, hypothalamus, etc. I was diagnosed in December of 2007. In March of 2006 I had a T level around 300. I have since had 16 brain surgeries and 5 rounds of radiation treatment. The tumor had completely surrounded the endocrine glands stated above. Most recent surgery was June 1st. End of July still had fatigue and general malaise. Recently tested and T level is a 12. Free Testosterone is >.01. Start the 5g gel today.Read More Read Less

It has brought me back to who I should always be. As you grow older you lose the male hormone that should be yours a life time. Thank heaven we live in a time where a man can get that back, not just for sex but to feel like a man all his life.
