36 yr old male. T level below 300. I am only 36 but felt 66. I had no energy, depressed, no sex drive and horrible sweating episodes. Once we found out what was going on I was put on Androgel. I noticed it the 1st day. I was, and am still amazed with it. I feel like a new person. I have so much energy, great mood all of the time and my sex drive is back! This is an awesome product.

This is a very dangerous drug.Currently being advertised on TV and other places as the answer to every mans problem. No side effects are mentioned and it has many! Was given to me WITHOUT blood tests. Appears men are the next hormonal science experiment as women were years ago. How many cancers and other health related issues must happen before the severity of the drug revealed. No side effects wh...

I'm 56 and no longer have ED. All is well in the bedroom again! However, my wife of 20+ years would like me to stop using the gel.

Saves me a trip twice a month to the doctor to get a shot. I don't mind needles or anything, it's just nice to be able to do it from home in a gel form instead of a thich dose by needle.

Why can you use the gel on the upper thigh/groin. What are the adverse effects?

I have used the GEL for about 6 months, at the .5G dosage. Primarily due to experiencing consistent fatigue. T Level was initially at 183. Little improvement at that level, increased dosage today up to .75 G. My question to you all is, what was you original T Level, what dosage level gave you relief, and how long did it take to get relief? Thanks a lot.

Have breast enlargement and have become irritable and agressive. When I tried to stop the medication I developed osteoporis and had to go back on again. I'm going to try and use this drug every other day and see what happens.

I am a 25 yr lymphatic cancer survivor. Got diagnosed with hypogonadism (underdeveloped testes)10 yrs ago. Tried patches, injections, androgel worked the best. Insurance gave me a problem, but my md cleared up the problem. Have been married for the past 10 years. I feel like I'm in my 20's (37 years old). Sex drive, energy level and moods are all great.

I have heart disease, my T levels were 0, used 1st Androgel then Testim for over 1 year, T levels great, sex drive great, then developed pain in abdomin, turned out to be blood clot, dr. believes related to gel. Discontinued gel, pain stopped. Odd reaction?

For the first 2-3 months of using Androgel 5 mg I had all of the positive results... energy, libido, muscle mass/weight loss were thru the roof. My wife thought she had found the 37 yr old she married. (now 54). For the past month desire for sex is strong, but have had some ED events. Not sure what is going on, but I still would recommend to anyone.

Have been on Androgel for two years and couldn't be happier. It has improved my energy levels, my mood and my sex drive. Muscle mass has increased and I'm a bit "hairier". It would be worth it just for the improved energy. My insurance is forcing me to move to either Testim or Androderm. I hope either of them is a good as Androgel.

Currently using. No effect after 3 months but no adverse effects either. Taking finasteride for prostate and reduction of DHT. Taking antidepressants. Supplementing with OTC DHEA, L-ariginine, zinc, and "Libido Max" which contains testosterone boosting herbal supplements.

I am a 45 year old male and I have been taking AndroGel for about 5 days (4 pumps per day) and I feel awlful. I woke up this morning to a severe rash that itches like crazy, my lips and legs are swollen, I feel exhausted, I ache and I feel depressed. I am not taking any more of this and I am getting ready to go to my doctor. I hope someone else has better luck with this medicine.

Have been on 2 or 3 pumps daily for 2 weeks. Prescribed for testosterone level low normal of 340 (nl. is 300-900) and loss of libido and ED. Libido improved significantly. ED is the same and so continue use of suction device to produce erection. Still difficulty obtaining orgasm. Plan to increase dose to 3 or 4 pumps daily.
