Been using 10g daily for 18 months. Libido, overall energy, and exercise tolerance greatly improved. ED improved, but still not back to normal. Use Cialis 10mg which works very well. I would love to increase my T levels a little more, but I'm at the max dosage now. Is there any way to increase the absorption of the gel? Oveall very satisfied with Androgel.

been using it fro 6 months now. screwing everything in sight, have anger problems every couple days and alot of mood swings..using 4 pumps a day

Was on this medicine for 2 months at 10GM per day, 2 packets. Found a definite improvement in mood and sense of well being, a big increase in energy, I stopped feeling exhausted all of the time. But unfortunately, my libido, and erections were still nonexistent so my doctor and I decided to switch over to the Injections of Testosterone Cypionate. Not to mention that my levels never got higher than 342 while on the Androgel. When I first started I got up to 231 on 5GM, and 342 on 10GM..... Hopefully the shots can help the nether regions, my wife has been very understanding. Im 29 and I have had no sex drive for about 5 years. Due to an accident my testosterone levels dropped. (200) After taking the cream they have gone back up. My question is, Am i on this for the rest of my life or once the level rises is that it? Please HELP Thank you

Using gel for 1.5 years. Improved libido and erections. More energy for exercise and actually get results now. I highly recomend this drug for anyone with low T, but it's cost prohibitive if you're not insured. If my insurer evers stops covering it, I'll get the shots. Androgel may have saved my life. I really felt like I was slowly dieing before I was dianosed and treated.

I have on Androgel for two weeks, my testosterone level was 60. The first week I had energy, sex drive was up 100%. After the first week I felt someone hit a switch and lost all the affects of the first week. I have headaches which I know is a side affect. I hope at some point I can return to week ones affects.

I have used Androderm which is a patch that burns the underlying skin and has poor adhesion to the skin (it falls off constantly). I have used Testim which has a very strog smell that lingers all day and this liquid is quite sticky. Both of these drugs work effectively, however those are the drawbacks of each. My profiteering insurance company took Androgel off their formulary, but after using the above two drugs for 9 months with their attendant problems, I got the insurance company to agree to give me a waiver to use Anrdogel again. Androgel is a fast drying liquid that has no smell or stickiness associated with it. I recommend it very highly versus the other alternatives. I have probably had low T levels my whole life, but never had it checked until 2 years ago. Sex drive good now. I'm tired but not totally exhausted like before gel. I use 6 pumps a day, use on upper arms because I am hairy. My levels have increased, but still on the very bottom of the range. Have prostate and T levels checked every 6 months.I have fibromyalgia and it does help the skin super-sensitivity

About 18 months ago, at the age of 62, I started to have many of the signs of low testosterone - ED, loss of libido, depression and loss of strength. My doctor tested me and my total T was at 304 ng/dl. He put me on 5 gm of Androgel and after 2 months it was 357. He upped it to 7.5 gm and it was at 277 after another 4 months and I still had all the signs of low T. I read that Testim might absorb better and asked him to change me to 10 gm of Testim and he agreed. After 6 months on 10 gm of Testim, my total T was 862, but my free T, DHT and estradiol are a little high. I cut my Testim to 7.5 gm daily a month ago and I still feel great. I will get blood work in another month. While on Testim my libido is very good, the ED is almost completely gone and I no longer need Viagra, my depression is gone and my strength has returned and I an using more weight than I have in 5 years. After 7 months on Testim I am very happy with the results so far. My T levels were low, and had e.d. After 3 months e.d. improved but my T level was still a little low, even after Dr. increased dose to 8 pumps a day. Dr. wants me to go back and talk about shots. Any comments about this. Thanks

I am a very healthy and in shape 35 year old male diagnosed with low-t - 220. After 1 month of use (4 pumps a day) of Androgel, I was retested and my t-level actually dropped to 100. In response, my endocrinologist had the dose increased to 8 pumps per day. After 3 weeks of the 8 pump dose, I actually feel worse. Libido is non existant, energy has decreased further, depression is starting to set in. What's worse, I am now starting to experience ED which is really hurting me psychologically and killing my marriage. I will have another blood test done in a week and another follow-up visit with the doc. At that visit, I plan to tell him that I am worse off then when I started. i have a low testosterone level and this is the second time i have used it both times i am totally exhausted and have no energy i also have hypothyroidism i wonder if this is why i feel this way my sex drive has dropped since i was diagnosed with the thyroid but the testosterone does not help i never felt so drained

I loved it until I lost my Job and Insurance and now I am to weak to do anything. before I started I had Low T and could work. And now that I have been forced off this drug I have no T and my doctor tells me Now that once you start using Androgel your body stops producing the amount you use to get for free and it will never change back which means you better have a very secure job before starting this drug because CVS charges $260.00 a month X 12 months = $3120.00 Life seams so unfair Becareful if you can avoid this addiction trap I would My doctor tells me you can't live without it and now he won't give me a apointment for my medician because I don't have insurance anymore I feel like I am dying slowly now. If you work in manufacturing like I have for 26 years I would think twice before using this stuff it could kill you if you loose your job to China or mexico.
