It took 6 weeks before my Testo levels moved up and before I felt the benefits. Night sweats and hot flashes are gone. Eneregy level is great and sexual functionality much improved. Real easy to apply.

Easy to use and nice small packets that open easily.

I was diagnosed with low Testosterone and my doctor recommended the Androgel 1.62. I've been using it for a month. I noticed hair loss, long periods without sleep even staying up 23hrs straight. A tingling sensation in my upper bicep and feeling exhausted with a lack of focus. I wouldn't recommend this product. There were some noticeable erections but the overall side effects were not worth a "temporary rise" in my libido. I'm meeting with my doctor and not using this product anymore. I think there are far too many downsides that have not been investigated before going on the market. I gave it adequate time and the mood swings, exhaustion, lack of focus as well as my endowment not being as full and pronounced after starting this treatment-not worth it. Use at your own risk. I'll allow my body time to regroup but not with this medication. I'm tired right now but felt I had to inform others of my experience with Androgel. caused heart palpations

I have been on Androgel for 4 years and am pleased with the results. I started taking Androgel because of always being tired and depressed attitude. My libido was almost nonexistent. I am happy to say that all of these symptoms have disappeared within the first few months of taking the drug. My libido has changed considerably with ease of getting an erection and keeping it. I am interested in sex all the time now and hope it continues. The only downside is increased body hair which I didn't need.Read More Read Less

More interest in sexual activities

For the ammount of money the drug cost, and the fact I was at the highest dosage level, I should have felt like Superman. Instead, I still felt like Eore!

What a mess! Forced to change from Axiron by my insurance. (Androgel is more expensive) It's a mess to apply, I have to worry about getting on the bathroom fixtures. It's like smearing K-Y jelly on myself. Takes twice as long to dry. And in one day, my massive headaches are back. What a crappy medication.

I had a slight increase of my levels but I hated putting the gel on my arms with my hands. It also took forever to dry!

Doctor started my boyfriend out on high dose. He did not advise to be tested at 14, 30 days and so on. He is now at 1500 on T level and is suffering terribly. Depression, anger, pain, mood swings and too much more to list, Doc did not monitor him after finding out how high his levels were the pharmacist was his best Alli. If only I could get my hands around that Dr.'s neck!

I have used this medication since 1988 due to a pituitary tumor. I have developed swelling of the breasts,swollen ankles and have developed sleep apnea. I also have become agressive with anger issues. I don't have a choice but to take this medication due to the chance of getting osteoporis from low levels of testostorone. I have also developed increased hair on my arms and back. Overall I wish I wish I could discontinue this medication. This medication is being advertised as a cure all which is BS. On the positive side I can still achieve erection and orgasim but the tradeoff is not worth it.Read More Read Less

As a testosterone enhancer Androgel has worked very well for me. Easy to apply in the morning and no side effects whatsoever!

I was tired all the time ,no sex drive and no feeling of well being,wife was not at all happy with me. Dr. had blood test done and my t-levels were very low at 5.3 / 173 after being on Andogel for a few days the results are amazing. I am full of energy and my sex life is back, my wife is very happy. haven't had morning erections for 3 years and this am I awoke with a very hard erection, just seeing my wife out of the shower or any sexual thoughts arouses me now,it has been a long time since this type of behavior has happened to me. I wish I would have done this sooner it really feels great to be alive again and looking forward for eveything improving as I continue with this therapy.I am 60 and I feel 30 again.Read More Read Less

I have only been on Androgel for 4 days and so far no side effects, I have to say there is improvements in overall well being, energy levels,labido and thinking. My sex drive is coming back which I have had none for a long time, awoke this am with a morning erection not real firm but that is something that I can't remember the last time it happened.I am new to this therapy and hope it continues to improve, My blood work showed t-levels of 5.3 and 173 have to have more blood work in 28 days to see where my levels are. I truly thank my Dr. for this I'm starting to feel alive again and my wife says she can see the positive effects I'm am not as moody. Low range testosterone took me to an endocrinologist who prescribed the low dose (2 pumps) - evaluation due in 2 more months. Cannot determine specific benefits to now.

52 y/o male who for years has been very ill. Began to think is was due to a horrific 97mph accident with a drunk driver. Over time, my sypmtoms included chronic pain, vomiting, depression, lack of appetite, gynecomatias (breast tumors #17), a brain injury w/gran mal seizures which caused epilepsy, broken neck with cervical spinal fusion and finally pituitary tumor w/ endocrinology problems. I have now been tested three times and my T level was 94, then 70 and now less than 40 and could not be measured exactly. I have been prescribed Androgel 1.62% but Endo Dr. and PCP have different views about hormone therapy and this medication for me. I am going to try it has I have not been able to be intimate for 3 years, have severe depression, weakness, fatigue, insomnia, lack of appetite, lack of sexual drive and have not left my bed for 14 months after several hospitalizations. So starting on Monday, I will begin the Androgel. I am hoping that things go well but I am told that I will be monitired every 2 weeks with blood tests for T level, Liver function tests, CBC, human growth hormone tests, sperm counts, prostate tests and more. All of this is caused by the brain tumor attached to the pituitary gland. I will be having it removed when it gets large enough, maybe another 2 years. In the meantime, they want me to use this Androgel 1.62% until my Testosterone level reaches between 700 and 940 (or more).
