My daughter was prescribed Opzelura for segmental vitiligo on her face and developed the worst acne I have ever seen. It spread all over her face and was significantly worse than the vitiligo it was trying to cure. This medication ruined her face.

I have eczema on my torso, shoulders and legs. Opzelura worked very well, very quickly, but after taking it for about a year I got urinary tract infections. I stopped taking Opzelura and after a few weeks applied it again and got another urinary tract infection. To be fair I am not sure it is from the Opzelura, it could be from something else, but I am male and never had UTI before and Opzelura is approved for vitiligo and for that use they do list UTI as a side effect.

It works quickly to treat eczema but this is a dangerous drug. Please read the black box warning and use the minimum amount needed to control the eczema. Be careful.

I have battled atopic dermatitis on my hands and soles of my feet for at least 2 years; it got really bad in the last 6 months. Coal tar and topical steroids did not work. The itching, pain and cracking was keeping me from walking comfortably; I had to stop my daily fitness walks and it was taking a toll on my mental health. I got a tiny sample of this cream, and within 4 days my skin was MUCH improved. My doctor had to battle with my insurance company to get it approved ,and they finally approved 1 tube only. I am a healthy 53 year old female, with no other conditions or other medications, and this cream has let me get back to living again. The only downside is the price. ($2200.00 retail) I hope my insurance will cover it again if I need it. Read More Read Less

Great, but beware. This is the only product I've found to be effective for my moderate to severe eczema. I was in the clinical trial for a year and it was fantastic to get somewhat lasting relief, however the first production batch they put on the market has small pieces of undissolved ingredient in it, very similar to small bits of chopped up fishing line. I can't believe they didn't recall it! If you have to pay full price, I'd demand from them somehow that you get a new tube without the manufacturing defect. They know it's a bad batch but won't do anything about it - just google it. I think they call it a texture issue. Anyway, great product without the effect of topical steroids, but very expensive without insurance of course, and still probably not healthy to be on for long term. My advice is to search out a 'functional medicine' doctor that will actually try to help you get healthy, and use Opzelura in the meantime. Most docs and derms only want to give you drugs to suppress individual symptoms, which is not a path to health, only temporary relief and rich docs, derms and drug companies.Read More Read Less

What is the purpose of creating a drug that no one can afford. My insurance won’t cover it and the pharmacy says I don’t qualify for the coupon that the company puts out. Who in their right mind has $2700 just lying around to pay for a cream. If you’re in the business to create new medicines, do so but put a realistic price on it. This cream is so far the only thing I found that works but so much for that.

I've used steroid creams in the past which never worked but ended up causing severe problems & I've used other non steroid creams which were just as bad & caused burning & itching. This cream did not cause any of those things. It's non greasy & goes on light. Cleared up my eczema in 4 days with no side effects. I wished it just were more moisturizimg for my very dry skin that's all but my Dr said I could put a moisturizer on afterwards if I need to since my skin becomes a little dry after I put it on but as long as it works I'm not complaining. It also cleared up my eczema on my eyelids too. I've tried Dupixent in the past & the injections not only stung & felt uncomfortable but dried my eyes up as well & caused horrible vision problems but this didn't. I will always be grateful for this company who came out with this miracle drug & I absolutely love It. Thank you Opzelura!!!!!Read More Read Less

I have suffered with horrible eczema on my hands for years. Nothing helped. I have been using this cream for about a week now and my hands are clear! Amazing! Hopefully it stays this way.

I’ve been dealing with eczema on my hands for 5 years. Steroids taken orally or by injection was only treatment that would clear it up but only lasted for short periods of time. Topical steroid ointments or cream did absolutely nothing. I was hesitant to try another topical treatment but when told this is not a steroid lotion I was willing to give it a try. After 2 weeks it is keeping my skin from cracking open and manageable. Very pleased and hoping I can finally stop the oral steroids.

I have suffered from eczema on the bottom of my feet for at least 10 years. I’ve tried everything out there and nothing worked. It was even getting painful to walk with stinging and burning. So I was a little skeptical when the doctor told me that there was a new cream that might work better (I’d heard that a million times before). Well, it’s been 2 weeks. And my feet are almost all clear! I am so happy and relieved. I know not sounds like a commercial, but I had to share. Age range selector does not seem to be working properly, but I’m in my 50’s.
